This study provides important concept and device prototype for future multifunctional logic applications.Perovskite solar cells exhibit not only high efficiency under full AM1.5 sunlight, but also have great potential for applications in low-light environments, such as indoors, cloudy conditions, early morning, late evening, etc. Unfortunately, their performance still suffers from severe trap-induced nonradiative recombination, particularly under low-light conditions. Here, a holistic passivation strategy is developed to reduce traps both on the surface and in the bulk of micrometer-thick perovskite film, leading to a record efficiency of 40.1% under 301.6 µW cm-2 warm light-emitting diode (LED) light for low-light solar-cell applications. The involvement of guanidinium into the perovskite bulk film and 2-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethylamine hydrobromide (CH3 O-PEABr) passivation on the perovskite surface synergistically suppresses the trap states. The charge carrier lifetimes of the perovskite film increase by tenfold and fivefold to 981 ns and 8.02 µs at the crystal surface and in its bulk, respectively. The decreased nonradiative recombination loss translates to a high open-circuit voltage (Voc ) of 1.00 V, a high short-circuit current (Jsc ) of 152.10 µA cm-2 , and a fill factor (FF) of 79.52%. Note that this performance also stands as the highest among all photovoltaics measured under indoor light illumination. This work of trap passivation for micrometer-thick perovskite film paves a way for high-performance, self-powered IoT devices.Home-care workers are increasingly caring for clients living with dementia. Workers usually have limited dementia training and are low paid and often lone working. Little is known about how home-care workers assist people with dementia with their personal care. We aimed to explore the experiences of home-care workers and the knowledge and skills they rely on when providing personal care to people with dementia. Marimastat chemical structure In 2020, we conducted 17 semi-structured, face-to-face interviews with home-care workers in the East of England. Analysis was inductive and thematic. Two key themes were present in the data 'structural conditions' and 'clients' dementia-related characteristics'. For each of these, we examined the challenges faced by home-care workers and the strategies they used to manage these challenges. Challenges included time allocation for visits, completing care plan tasks, lone working, communication and understanding, refusals of care, and client behaviours. To mitigate these challenges, home-care workers utilrkers to develop interpersonal sensitivity.Low-dimensional semiconductors provide promising ultrathin channels for constructing more-than-Moore devices. However, the prominent contact barriers at the semiconductor-metal electrodes interfaces greatly limit the performance of the obtained devices. Here, a chemical approach is developed for the construction of p-type field-effect transistors (FETs) with low contact barriers by achieving the simultaneous synthesis and integration of 2D PdTe2 with various low-dimensional semiconductors. The 2D PdTe2 synthesized through a quasi-liquid process exhibits high electrical conductivity (≈4.3 × 106 S m-1 ) and thermal conductivity (≈130 W m-1 K-1 ), superior to other transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) and even higher than some metals. In addition, PdTe2 electrodes with desired geometry can be synthesized directly on 2D MoTe2 and other semiconductors to form high-performance p-type FETs without any further treatment. The chemically derived atomically ordered PdTe2 -MoTe2 interface results in significantly reduced contact barrier (65 vs 240 meV) and thus increases the performance of the obtained devices. This work demonstrates the great potential of 2D PdTe2 as contact materials and also opens up a new avenue for the future device fabrication through the chemical construction and integration of 2D components.
This study aimed to explore the effect of performing remote health education via WeChat to improve the pre-operative nutritional status of non-restrictive ventricular septal defects (VSD).

A prospective randomised controlled study was conducted in a provincial maternity and child hospital in China. Participants were randomised regarding education to the intervention group (WeChat) and the control group (leaflets). The nutritional status and complications of the patients were compared after intervening for 1month.

Nutrient status comparison at 1month after intervention showed that the body weight, head circumference, haemoglobin, albumin and pre-albumin of the WeChat group were significantly higher than those of the leaflet group (P < 0.05). The STRONGkids score of the WeChat group was significantly lower than that of the leaflet group (P < 0.05). The incidence of feeding intolerance and respiratory tract infection in the WeChat group was significantly lower than that found in the leaflet group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of liver insufficiency and jaundice between the two groups (P > 0.05).

Providing pre-operative feeding and care guidance for parents of infants with non-restrictive VSD, via remote health education through WeChat, can effectively improve nutritional status and reduce the risk of malnutrition and feeding complications.

We performed a systematic review including 20 peer-reviewed English language studies reporting mortality in CAPA published till 18 February 2021from PubMed, Ovid SP, Web of Science, Embase and CINHAL. The pooled mortality in CAPA was 51.2% (95% CI 43.1-61.1, I2 = 38%). The leave one out sensitivity analysis and influential case diagnostics revealed one outlier and its exclusion resulted in a mortality estimate of 54% (95% CI 45-62). Higher odds of mortality 2.83 (95% CI 1.8-4.5) were seen in CAPA compared to controls. No significant difference in various subgroups according to the country of study, the continent of study, income category of country and quality of the included study was seen. None of the host risk factors, mycological test results, therapy for COVID-19 and antifungal therapy affected mortality. Thus, patients with CAPA have a high probability of mortality and early diagnosis with prompt therapy must be ensured to optimally manage these patients.
