55 dB. The manufactured IPD-based BPF can play an excellent role in various S-band applications, such as a repeater, satellite communication, and radar, owing to its miniaturized chip size and high performance.Primary brain tumors, both malignant and benign, are diagnosed in adults at an incidence rate of approximately 23 people per 100 thousand. The role of AhR in carcinogenesis has been a subject of debate, given that this protein may act as either an oncogenic protein or a tumor suppressor in different cell types and contexts. Lately, there is growing evidence that aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) plays an important part in the development of brain tumors. The role of AhR in brain tumors is complicated, depending on the type of tumor, on ligands that activate AhR, and other features of the pathological process. In this review, we summarize current knowledge about AhR in relation to brain tumors and provide an overview of AhR's potential as a therapeutic target.Metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) gas sensors have the advantages of high sensitivity, short response-recovery time and long-term stability. However, the shortcoming of poor discriminability of homogeneous gases limits their applications in gas sensors. It is well-known that the MOS materials have similar gas sensing responses to homogeneous gases such as CO and H2, so it is difficult for these gas sensors to distinguish the two gases. In this paper, simple sol-gel method was employed to obtain the ZnO-xNiO composites. Gas sensing performance results illustrated that the gas sensing properties of composites with x > 0.425 showed a p-type response to both CO and H2, while the gas sensing properties of composites with x less then 0.425 showed an n-type response to both CO and H2. However, it was interesting that ZnO-0.425NiO showed a p-type response to CO but an discriminable response (n-type) to H2, which indicated that modulating the p-type or n-type semiconductor concentration in p-n composites could be an effective method with which to improve the discriminability of this type of gas sensor regarding CO and H2. The phenomenon of the special gas sensing behavior of ZnO-0.425NiO was explained based on the experimental observations and a range of characterization techniques, including XRD, HRTEM and XPS, in detail. The feline leukemia virus (FeLV) belongs to the family Retroviridae; it is the first feline retrovirus discovered and one of the agents that has a great impact on cats' health and the ecology of the feline population worldwide. It is associated with the occurrence of several syndromes of fatal diseases, including the development of lymphomas. Studies on FeLV have been reported in Colombia, and most of them have been approached from a clinical point of view. However, only a few studies have focused on the prevalence of the infection, while none have clarified which variant or FeLV viral subgroup is presently circulating in our country. Therefore, the present study investigated the prevalence of the infection associated with the molecular characterization of FeLV present in cats in Aburrá Valley, Colombia. The sampling of privately owned and shelter cats was performed in female (n = 54) and male (n = 46) felines; most of them were seemingly healthy according to the owner's report, with nonspecific clinical history. Immunoassay confirmed that 59.44% (95% confidence interval (CI) = 49.81-69.06%) of felines were FeLV seropositive. The molecular testing of felines using reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction and sequencing showed that 30% (30/100) of felines were positive, and the most prevalent subgroup in the Aburrá Valley was FeLV-A. In conclusion, the frequency of leukemia virus, as revealed by molecular and serological tests, is one of the highest reported frequencies to date, and a high molecular variation is shown in the Colombian population. More studies on the behaviour of the virus in feline populations in Columbia are warranted to determine its prevalence throughout the country.Large constellations of low-orbit satellites have already been launched with the aim of offering complete worldwide coverage of broadband Internet; however, compact, simple, and low-cost mobile terminals are necessary to establish the communication. This paper describes the design of a reconfigurable and compact filtenna with the ability to switch between the satellites' uplink and downlink frequencies, 20 GHz and 29 GHz, maintaining an excellent performance. Due to its simplicity, efficiency, and Rx/Tx isolation, this antenna is a relevant candidate to be part of mobile terminals and devices, or even sensors, that communicate with satellites.Distinct patterns of dinucleotide representation, such as CpG and UpA suppression, are characteristic of certain viral genomes. Recent research has uncovered vertebrate immune mechanisms that select against specific dinucleotides in targeted viruses. This evidence highlights the importance of systematically examining the dinucleotide composition of viral genomes. We have developed a novel metric, called synonymous dinucleotide usage (SDU), for quantifying dinucleotide representation in coding sequences. Our method compares the abundance of a given dinucleotide to the null hypothesis of equal synonymous codon usage in the sequence. We present a Python3 package, DinuQ, for calculating SDU and other relevant metrics. We have applied this method on two sets of invertebrate- and vertebrate-specific flaviviruses and rhabdoviruses. Torkinib mouse The SDU shows that the vertebrate viruses exhibit consistently greater under-representation of CpG dinucleotides in all three codon positions in both datasets. In comparison to existing metrics for dinucleotide quantification, the SDU allows for a statistical interpretation of its values by comparing it to a null expectation based on the codon table. Here we apply the method to viruses, but coding sequences of other living organisms can be analysed in the same way. With the more serious threats from complex electromagnetic environments, composites composed of conductive or semiconductive fillers and polymeric matrices could exhibit excellent nonlinear I-V characteristics, and have drawn significant attention in the field of overvoltage protection. In this research, graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs) are decorated by ZnO and mixed into an epoxy resin (ER) matrix via solution blending to prepare composites. A characterization analysis and the I-V measurement results of the GNPs/ER composites indicate that ZnO nanoparticles are well bonded with GNPs and exhibit obvious nonlinear I-V behavior under proper applied voltage with high nonlinear coefficients. The switching threshold voltage and nonlinear coefficients could be controlled by adjusting the weight ratio of GNPs and ZnO of the filler. Moreover, compared with the poor recoverability of pure GNP-filled ER in previous research, the GNP-ZnO/ER composites exhibited excellent reversibility of nonlinear I-V behavior under multiple repetitive I-V measurements.
