Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
Now is your chance to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping with apps-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.
1. Going At this website j7+ iRobot from iRobot.
The Roomba j7+, iRobot’s most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. The most significant advancement, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. It uses AI to detect objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's the first robot to provide you with images of objects that it encounters, so that you can instruct that it is safe to avoid it.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we have ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills easily and leaves no trace of it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. It can schedule cleanings and create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't clean in areas you don't would like. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it by voice.
Its design is an improvement over the rest, with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy rather than a loud, loud one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System automatically empty, which is great to speed up cleaning.
In our tests, the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one location instead of scattering it all over the floor. It was able to capture small gravel, sand and even a bit of grit. Most robots could not achieve this feat. It did without getting caught up in our pet's hair.
The j7+, while not as intelligent as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and it isn't able to clean the stairs, it's an excellent choice for those who need both mopping and vacuum. It's not expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.
While the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly however we've found it be less reliable than other apps that use robotic cleaners. It can take a long time to download updates, and sometimes it's hard to determine whether the update is functioning until you've seen it in the action.
2. Roborock Q5+
When you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, your best option is probably hybrid. These bots are equipped with a water tank so they can vacuum and mop at the same time. They also have a range of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance and even the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. They're costly at full retail but often are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock makes some of our favorite robot vacuums, and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it might not include some of the premium features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories), it's still an excellent choice for those who are willing to make a few compromises to save a few dollars.
The Q5+ is remarkably gentle when it comes down to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it a great choice for homes that have a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies, which is a problem where cheaper robot vacuums can really fall short. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is superb too, with very little missed corners and along walls.
The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled with a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. With the app you can start and stop cleaning, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and adjust your home map or change the labeling of rooms.
If you choose the Q5+ it comes with a new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is relatively simple. It also has a large LCD display, which is nice to have when setting up schedules or altering settings. This isn't an essential feature for everyone but it will help you keep the track of your robot's maintenance intervals effortlessly.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of mopping and vacuuming. Its design and functionality are among the best on the market however, it's also expensive.
Its base station looks good and is easily hidden when not in use, and its size is quite compact. The station's main selling point is that it automates many tasks, chores and functions that other robots would leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot charged and clean.
And its vacuuming is impressive and efficient, too. It's the few robovacs I've tried that does an excellent job of cleaning up debris from plain floors, and is not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.
But the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs. This means it is prone to getting stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It's also not able to climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a dock that can create a cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.
Although it doesn't provide as many in terms of cleaning configuration options in its app, or as many shortcuts in the app as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for a comprehensive robot vacuum and mop that's worth the price price.
If you're looking to save some cash or simply don't care about the limitations of this machine there are many other great choices available, including a lot of eufy models priced significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for example is a bit more expensive and has more features, such as the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, with a better overall vacuuming experience on bare floors, low-pile carpets as well as high-pile ones.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
Eufy, an Anker company, has a track record of producing robot vacuums that strike the perfect balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning of hard floors as well as carpets and mopping function too at an affordable price point. It's easy to set it up, simply snap on one of the side brushes and turn it on, then plug in your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock must be located near an outlet with enough space to move.
The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be precise and can be placed under couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design is more subtle in comparison to other models. It is sleek with a black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral pattern for two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.
The most important aspect that makes the G30 apart from most competitors is the method it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to draw an image of the immovable items that are in its path. It remembers the items it has cleaned and what it is unable to access. It will return to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning where it left off.
The eufy G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba 675 is more constructed, has lower recurring costs, is charged more quickly and has the same battery life while offering better performance on floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as frequently and comes with an array of boundaries to ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30, on the other hand, is more affordable and is much more manageable to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't need emptying as often and is less prone to suffocating heavy materials such as cereal.
