The Roomba J7+, iRobot's most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. The Q5+ is notably gentle around obstacles like wall legs and table legs, which makes it an excellent choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to getting rid of dust bunnies which is an area where many cheaper robot vacuums can really fail. The Q5+'s navigation system is also superb, with only a few mishaps along walls and in corners.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products, can be controlled by only a few buttons on your device or via the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.

If you decide to go with the Q5+ model, it ships with a new auto-empty dock designed specifically to make this machine easy to maintain. It is a relatively small base station that looks stunning and is able to be concealed when not in use. However, if you're looking to save money, or just don't care about the limitations of this robotic, there are plenty of other great choices on the market which include a variety of eufy models for considerably less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and offers a similar in-app experience with more features, including stair climbing, a full-function dock, and a better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.
