Avoid Making This Fatal Mistake When It Comes To Your Robot Vacuum Deals
Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've always wanted to buy a robot vacuum now is the time. CNET's best-rated models will be available during Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also self-empties and refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+, iRobot's most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. Its most significant advancement is an obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste that the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often go through). It's also the first to automatically send you a photo of any object it encounters so you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we have ever tested. It removes dirt and spills effortlessly and leaves no trace of it was there. It's easy to control using the iRobot Home app that allows you to schedule cleaning times and set up Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't vacuum areas you don't want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it using voice.

The design is also superior to the competition. It features an elegant, top piece that appears like an toy, not a loud and obnoxious robot. Clean Base Automatic Dirt disposal System also self-empties, which will cut down your cleaning time.

In our tests the j7+ performed quick to clean up dust, dirt and pet hair. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one place instead of scattering it all over the floor. It was able to capture sand, small gravel and even a bit of grit. Most robots could not achieve this feat. It did all this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shedding.

The j7+, though not as sophisticated as the $1,217 Roomba S9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot, and can't clean the stairs, is an option for those who require both a vacuum and a mop. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates and it is sometimes difficult to determine if they are working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that does more than simply clean your floors, a hybrid is the best choice. These machines are equipped with a tank of water so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. These bots also have many additional features like smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they can be pricey at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock makes some of our favorite robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ doesn't fail to impress. This is the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. While it may not include some of the expensive features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories), it's still an excellent option for those who are willing to make some compromises to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is notably gentle around obstacles like wall legs and table legs, which makes it an excellent choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to getting rid of dust bunnies which is an area where many cheaper robot vacuums can really fail. The Q5+'s navigation system is also superb, with only a few mishaps along walls and in corners.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products, can be controlled by only a few buttons on your device or via the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.

If you decide to go with the Q5+ model, it ships with a new auto-empty dock designed specifically to make this machine easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once in place it is done easily. It also has an impressive LCD display which is great to have when you're creating schedules or changing settings. This feature isn't necessary for most people however it can help you to keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated, well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design is one of the most innovative in the market however it's quite expensive.

It is a relatively small base station that looks stunning and is able to be concealed when not in use. But the station's main selling feature is the way it automatizes numerous tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot fully charged and clean.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's one of the only robovacs that I've tried that does an excellent job of picking up debris on bare floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes to navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs, which means it can get stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the home. It can't navigate stairs as well as competitors,, and it doesn't have a dock that allows the user to set up a dedicated cleaning zone for plush carpets.

Although it doesn't provide the same amount of cleaning configuration options in its app, or as many shortcuts in the app as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those looking for a comprehensive mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the higher price price.

However, if you're looking to save money, or just don't care about the limitations of this robotic, there are plenty of other great choices on the market which include a variety of eufy models for considerably less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and offers a similar in-app experience with more features, including stair climbing, a full-function dock, and a better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy is an Anker company with a history of producing robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning of carpets and hard flooring, and a mopping function at an affordable price. It's easy to setup simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. It is recommended to keep the dock close to an electrical outlet and enough space for it to move however.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be precise It will fit under many sofas and other furniture with low clearance. Its design is less ostentatious than some rival models, with sleek black finishes and three buttons that are physical such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge, and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs a space in a spiral pattern for two minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to conduct cleaning without a schedule using voice commands.

click here for info that the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from its rivals. It makes use of an integrated map to make a picture of the immovable objects in its path. It remembers the things it has cleaned and where it cannot access. When it's time to recharge, it will automatically return to its base and resumes cleaning where it began.

The eufy G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower monthly costs. It charges faster, offers the same battery life and is more effective on bare carpet or floors with low pile. It has a bigger dust bin that does not require more emptying. It also has border strips that block it from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't need to be emptied as often and has less trouble with bulky materials such as cereal.
