As travel activity has gained attention as one of the essential ways of understanding the sustainable growth of social tourism, a growing number of research projects have been conducted to elucidate the relationship between residents' travel quantity (frequency) and quality (experience) in both macro and micro perspectives. Yet, very little research has highlighted that travel opportunities are not equally available to residents, especially a longitudinal perspective. The current study classified domestic travelers into four distinct classes using four years of longitudinal data from 5054 Korean residents. Latent growth curve modeling (LGCM) and growth mixture modeling (GMM) were employed to find out (1) the optimal number of classes, (2) the longitudinal travel frequency trajectory of each class, and (3) the distinctive demographic and travel characteristics of the four classes. This study provides some practical implications for policymakers when optimizing available resources for sustainable travel opportunities to relevant target sub-populations. Furthermore, detailed step-by-step analytic tutorials are also introduced for the extended application of longitudinal latent variable analysis in the tourism and hospitality fields, providing additional insights for relevant stakeholders.Intra-abdominal pressure (IAP) is closely correlated with intra-abdominal hypertension (IAH) and abdominal compartment syndrome (ACS) diagnoses, indicating the need for continuous monitoring. Early intervention for IAH and ACS has been proven to reduce the rate of morbidity. However, the current IAP monitoring method is a tedious process with a long calibration time for a single time point measurement. Thus, there is the need for an efficient and continuous way of measuring IAP. Herein, a stretchable capacitive pressure sensor with controlled microstructures embedded into a cylindrical elastomeric mold, fabricated as a pressure sensing sleeve, is presented. The sensing sleeve can be readily deployed onto intrabody catheter balloons for pressure measurement at the site. The thin and highly conformable nature of the pressure sensing sleeve captures the pressure change without hindering the functionality of the foley catheter balloon.Although Ca2+ ion plays an essential role in cellular physiology, calcium-binding proteins (CaBPs) were long used for mainly as immunohistochemical markers of specific cell types in different regions of the central nervous system. They are a heterogeneous and wide-ranging group of proteins. Their function was studied intensively in the last two decades and a tremendous amount of information was gathered about them. Girard et al. compiled a comprehensive list of the gene-expression profiles of the entire EF-hand gene superfamily in the murine brain. We selected from this database those CaBPs which are related to information processing and/or neuronal signalling, have a Ca2+-buffer activity, Ca2+-sensor activity, modulator of Ca2+-channel activity, or a yet unknown function. In this way we created a gene function-based selection of the CaBPs. We cross-referenced these findings with publicly available, high-quality RNA-sequencing and in situ hybridization databases (Human Protein Atlas (HPA), Brain RNA-seq database and Allen Brain Atlas integrated into the HPA) and created gene expression heat maps of the regional and cell type-specific expression levels of the selected CaBPs. Cremophor EL This represents a useful tool to predict and investigate different expression patterns and functions of the less-known CaBPs of the central nervous system.Herein, GSH-sensitive hyaluronic acid-poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (HA-SS-PLGA) was synthesized. Surface modification of PLGA with hyaluronic acid produced a highly stable micelle at physiological pH while a micelle was destabilized at a higher GSH level. Fluorescence microscopy results showed that rhodamine-encapsulated micelle was taken up by brain cancer cells, while competitive inhibition was observed in the presence of free HA and free transferrin. In vitro cytotoxicity results revealed that transferrin-targeted nanoformulated AUY922 (TF-NP-AUY922) shows higher cytotoxicity than either free AUY922 or non-targeted AUY922-loaded micelles (NP-AUY922). In comparison to the control groups, free AUY922, TF-NP-AUY922 or NP-AUY922 treatment revealed the upregulation of HSP70, while the expression of HSP90 client proteins was simultaneously depleted. In addition, the treatment group induced caspase-dependent PARP cleavage and the upregulation of p53 expression, which plays a key role in apoptosis of brain cancer cells. In vivo and ex vivo biodistribution studies showed that cypate-loaded micelle was taken up and accumulated in the tumor regions. Furthermore, in vivo therapeutic efficacy studies revealed that the AUY922-loaded micelle significantly suppressed tumor growth in comparison to the free AUY922, or control groups using tumor-bearing NOD-SCID mice. Moreover, biochemical index and histological analysis revealed synthesized micelle does not show any significant cytotoxicity to the selected major organs. Overall, a synthesized micelle is the best carrier for AUY922 to enhance the therapeutic efficiency of brain cancer.Counting the number of work cycles per unit of time of earthmoving excavators is essential in order to calculate their productivity in earthmoving projects. The existing methods based on computer vision (CV) find it difficult to recognize the work cycles of earthmoving excavators effectively in long video sequences. Even the most advanced sequential pattern-based approach finds recognition difficult because it has to discern many atomic actions with a similar visual appearance. In this paper, we combine atomic actions with a similar visual appearance to build a stretching-bending sequential pattern (SBSP) containing only "Stretching" and "Bending" atomic actions. These two atomic actions are recognized using a deep learning-based single-shot detector (SSD). The intersection over union (IOU) is used to associate atomic actions to recognize the work cycle. In addition, we consider the impact of reality factors (such as driver misoperation) on work cycle recognition, which has been neglected in existing studies.
