Identifying the concerns about and attitudes toward adopting a healthy, sustainable diet may facilitate the development of effective implementation policies targeted at changing an individual's dietary choices toward reducing the environmental burden of food systems. This cross-sectional online study was conducted in Israel among 348 adults aged 20-45 who responded to an advertisement posted on several social media platforms. Respondents received a link for the survey after signing informed consent forms. The questionnaire included three sections concerns regarding food-related sustainability issues, willingness to act ("self"), and expectation that leaders would act upon these issues ("leaders"). Responses were recorded on a 1-4 Likert scale. Health-related issues-healthy food and drink, food prices, food safety, and the quality of health services-were scored the highest, both in the "self" and "leaders" sections. In all items, the expectation that leaders would act was higher than the willingness to act (composite mean ± SD 3.04 ± 3.11 vs. 2.51 ± 2.47, respectively, p less then 0.001). There were significant differences among dietary patterns in all three components. Mapping young adults' concerns about and attitudes toward food-related sustainability issues allows for the identification of leverages that can be further used as focus issues in messages and interventions such as communication, food labeling, and economic incentives. The feasibility of carbonation curing of ternary blend Portland cement-metakaolin-limestone was investigated. Portland cement was substituted by the combination of metakaolin and limestone at levels of 15%, 30%, and 45% by the mass. The ternary blends were cured with four different combinations of ambient and carbonation curing. The mechanical property, CO2 uptake, and mineralogical variations of the ternary blend pastes were investigated by means of compressive strength test, thermogravimetric analysis, and X-ray diffractometry. In addition, volume of permeable voids and sorptivity of the ternary blends were also presented to provide a fundamental idea of the pore characteristics of the blends. The test results showed that the increasing amount of metakaolin and limestone enhanced the CO2 uptake, reaching 20.7% for the sample with a 45% cement replacement level at 27 d of carbonation. Meanwhile, the compressive strength of the samples was reduced up to 65% upon excessive incorporation of metakaolin and limestone. The samples with a replacement level of 15% exhibited a comparable strength and volume of permeable voids to those of the sample without substitution, proving that the ternary blend Portland cement-metakaolin-limestone can be a viable option toward the development of eco-friendly binders.Nowadays, sensor devices are developing fast. It is therefore critical, at a time when the availability and recyclability of materials are, along with acceptability from the consumers, among the most important criteria used by industrials before pushing a device to market, to review the most recent advances related to functional electronic materials, substrates or packaging materials with natural origins and/or presenting good recyclability. This review proposes, in the first section, passive materials used as substrates, supporting matrixes or packaging, whether organic or inorganic, then active materials such as conductors or semiconductors. The last section is dedicated to the review of pertinent sensors and devices integrated in sensors, along with their fabrication methods. To elucidate patterns of and risk factors for acute traumatic injuries in climbers in need of professional rescue, a retrospective evaluation was performed of the Austrian National Registry of Mountain Accidents regarding rock climbing incidents over a 13-year timeframe from 2005 to 2018. Bemcentinib From 2992 recorded incidents, 1469 were uninjured but in need of recovery, mainly when alpine climbing. Acute traumatic injuries (n = 1217) were often classified as severe (UIAA ≥ 3; n = 709), and commonly involved fractures (n = 566). Main injury causes were falls (n = 894) frequently preceded by rockfall (n = 229), a stumble (n = 146), a grip or foothold break-out (n = 143), or a belaying error (n = 138). In fatal cases (n = 140), multiple trauma (n = 105) or head injuries (n = 56) were most common, whereas lower extremity injuries (n = 357) were most common in severely injured patients. The risk for severe or fatal injuries increased with age and fall height when ascending or bouldering, during the morning hours, and when climbing without a helmet or rope. The case fatality rate was 4.7%, and the estimated total mortality rate was 0.003-0.007 per 1000 h of rock climbing. Acute traumatic injuries requiring professional rescue when rock climbing are often severe or fatal. Consequent use of a helmet when sport climbing, consistent use of a rope (particularly when ascending), proper spotting when bouldering, and proper training, as well as high vigilance when belaying are likely to help prevent such injuries.Characterization of immunophenotypes in glioblastoma (GBM) is important for therapeutic stratification and helps predict treatment response and prognosis. Radiomics can be used to predict molecular subtypes and gene expression levels. However, whether radiomics aids immunophenotyping prediction is still unknown. In this study, to classify immunophenotypes in patients with GBM, we developed machine learning-based magnetic resonance (MR) radiomic models to evaluate the enrichment levels of four immune subsets Cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs), activated dendritic cells, regulatory T cells (Tregs), and myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs). Independent testing data and the leave-one-out cross-validation method were used to evaluate model effectiveness and model performance, respectively. We identified five immunophenotypes (G1 to G5) based on the enrichment level for the four immune subsets. G2 had the worst prognosis and comprised highly enriched MDSCs and lowly enriched CTLs. G3 had the best prognosis and comprised lowly enriched MDSCs and Tregs and highly enriched CTLs. The average accuracy of T1-weighted contrasted MR radiomics models of the enrichment level for the four immune subsets reached 79% and predicted G2, G3, and the "immune-cold" phenotype (G1) according to our radiomics models. Our radiomic immunophenotyping models feasibly characterize the immunophenotypes of GBM and can predict patient prognosis.
