Choosing the Best Single Oven Electric Cooker
The most efficient single oven electric cooker begins with assessing the cooking needs of your family and comparing different options. You should also take into consideration the size, energy efficiency, and features to reduce your long-term operating costs.
Always consult a certified electrician prior to installing any large electrical appliances. Always follow the manufacturer's safety guidelines.
1. Zanussi SZ601EX
Antonio Zanussi founded Zanussi, an Italian home appliance manufacturer, in 1916. The brand started out making wood-burning stoves and ovens for homes, before expanding into washing machines in the 1950s. In 1964, Rex introduced the first refrigerator to have a separate -12C section for the freezer and automatic defrosting.
Smart features like MATCH enable the Magistar Combi Oven and Rapido Chiller to communicate (and vice-versa) to enhance kitchen efficiency. Energy efficiency is improved with induction technology, and a low noise ventilation system ensures the working area is quiet and comfortable. Refrigerators are based on R290 gas which is less harmful to the environment and has lower impact on global warming than conventional gases.
2. Hotpoint HCO390
Hotpoint initially a division owned by General Electric (USA), is now operated and owned by the European company Indesit. The name Hotpoint can also be used for other household appliances like fridges and washing machines.
The brand was founded in 1911 and has a fascinating back story. The name is derived from the original Hotpoint Iron, designed by Earl Richardson and reputedly the first electric iron with a central heating system. It also had an automatic switch off.
Hotpoint provides a range of products that are designed to meet the needs and wants of tech-savvy homeowners. This includes a range of mini-splits that are ductless that can be controlled using the SmartHQ home app and come with a five-year limited parts warranty.
3. Indesit black single oven
Founded in 1975 and listed on the Borsa Italiana until it was bought by Whirpool in 2014, Indesit is one of the largest European producers and distributors of major domestic appliances (washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators and freezers, ovens and cookers) with eight industrial facilities across Italy, Poland, UK, Russia and Turkey counting 16 thousand employees. The products of the company are sold under the Hotpoint brand and Indesit. Indesit's range contains EcoSense and Anti-Crease features that help to reduce washing time and energy consumption respectively.
4. Zanussi SZ601EX
Antonio Zanussi founded the Zanussi Company in Pordenone in Italy in 1916. It became a household brand in the mid-1940s. Electrolux is now the owner of the brand. The company grew in the 1950s with a factory located in Porcia and the construction of a design centre. In the same decade, it purchased the Becchi Castor Zoppas Triplex brands. In 1964 the Zanussi brand introduced in Italy the first fridge with 12C compartments that were suitable for frozen food - the "Supermarket Rex". Today, Zanussi is one of the leading producers of Italian household appliances in Europe. Zanussi Professional is the rebranded nationwide Service Force network that supports their products.
