Accordingly, farmers' safety and health programs in the region should focus on reducing or replacing the mentioned high-risk pesticides. Reducing government subsidies for high-risk pesticides, establishing government subsidies for farmers' PPE, providing extension training (especially for small-scale farmers), and receiving ongoing training feedback to improve farmers' health risk perception of pesticides and the need to use PPE will effectively reduce farmers' health risks. The main purpose of research was to investigate the underlying strategies for enhancing "organizational sustainability" (OS). The study categorizes the existing literature, based on strategic choice theory and the attribution model, which reveals that green human resource management (GHRM) practices play a crucial role in environmental management and organizational sustainability. This study investigates the impact of GHRM practices including training and development, performance appraisal, and reward and compensation on organizational sustainability through the mediating role of environmental performance and employee performance. A survey questionnaire methodology was used for data collection; data were collected from 165 managerial personnel in the textile industrial sector of Pakistan. The findings of the study showed significant effects of GHRM practices, i.e. (training and development, performance appraisal, and reward and compensation), on Organizational Sustainability, Similarly, this study empirically investigates the distinct mediating role of environmental performance and employee's performance between GHRM practices and organizational sustainability. The study findings support the hypothesized model of mediation. The GHRM is an innovative idea in developing countries, and additional studies are needed to identify sustainability issues and evaluate the impacts of GHRM practices in the textile and manufacturing industries in Pakistan.Chlorophenols are not only noticed in an effluvium of industries but also can emerge from the water treatment plants for domestic supply which poses a high threat for crop production and human health. Therefore, research on their risks to ecosystem and human health via ecotoxicological tests to derivate permissible environmental contaminant concentrations is necessary. The chlorophenols produced in the course of chlorination of potable water is an outcome of natural carboxylic acids/organic material and those chlorophenols occurred as emerging disinfection byproducts (EDBPs). Among chlorophenols, pentachlorophenol (PCP) has been recently identified as one of the important EDBPs. The main objective was to evaluate the PCP-induced genotoxicity and the oxidative damage in two plant species, i.e., Allium cepa and Vigna radiata. Genotoxicity of PCP was examined at three selected concentrations based on EC50 (half-maximal effective concentrations) values in both the plants along with the defense mechanism. EC50 value for A. cepa and V. radiata was 0.7 mg/L and 35 mg/L. Root length inhibition, DNA laddering, lipid peroxidation, H2O2 content, and antioxidant enzymatic assays evaluated revealed a dose-dependent response. PCP influenced defense enzyme glutathione peroxidase (GPX) and ascorbate peroxidase (APX) action in both plants and showed deprivement of catalase (CAT) with the increase of PCP concentrations. PCP-invaded toxicity management by these plants implied that A. cepa is more sensitive than V. radiata regarding PCP-induced toxicity. In order to explore the effective method of ecological environment quality evaluation the of environmental pollution treatment of energy consumption emits in industrial parks in China, based on a literature review, 21 evaluation indicators of four types were selected in this paper. With a hierarchical analysis method used to determine the relative weights of each evaluation indicator, and a two-level comprehensive fuzzy evaluation model reconstructed, a comprehensive evaluation study of ecological environment quality was carried out, taking the Nanjing MV Industrial Park as the research object. The evaluation results show that it can be seen that the ecological environment quality of the Nanjing MV Industrial Park has improved in certain degree. The evaluation results are in line with the actual situation, which verifies the validity of the comprehensive fuzzy evaluation model for the comprehensive evaluation of ecological environment quality. The research results have a guiding role for the management practice of environmental pollution in industrial parks and have a significant theoretical support for the government to formulate the ecological environment quality standards and related policies of industrial parks. click here Graphical Abstract.Considering the high environmental risk, the remediation of antibiotic pollutants attracted numerous attentions. In this work, a novel photocatalyst, Ce0.9Zr0.1O2/SnIn4S8, was fabricated by in situ precipitation and hydrothermal method and then applied to the degradation of norfloxacin under the irritation of visible light. The SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS, and electrochemical results clearly showed that the n-type heterojunction between Ce0.9Zr0.1O2 and SnIn4S8 was successfully constructed, which greatly reduces the recombination of the photogenic electron and holes, leading to the improvement of photocatalytic performance and stability (recycled over eight times). Besides, the Ce0.9Zr0.1O2/SnIn4S8 composite also exhibited good ability to mineralize norfloxacin. Under the optimal condition (pH 3, 1 g L-1 of 10% Ce0.9Zr0.1O2/SnIn4S8, and 8 mg L-1 of initial norfloxacin concentration), norfloxacin could be fully and rapidly degraded in 60 min, and completely mineralized in 4 h (99.3 ± 1.7%). LC-QTOF-MS results evidently displayed eight intermediates during norfloxacin degradation. In addition, with the attack of the reactive oxygen species (h+, •OH, and •O2-), norfloxacin could be effectively decomposed via deoxygenation, hydroxylation, and carboxylation reactions. Notably, compared to photodegradation, the photocatalytic process could completely eliminate the norfloxacin from water because it could avoid the accumulation of toxic byproducts.
