Elderly patients who present with an inability to weight bear following a fall, with normal radiographs, should be appropriately investigated to rule out an occult hip fracture (OHF). We aim to identify both the range and incidence of the differential diagnosis of acute traumatic hip pain in a large series of patients investigated for OHF. A retrospective analysis of consecutive patients investigated for an OHF with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was performed. Dedicated musculo- skeletal radiologists reported the MRI scans. Case notes were reviewed for all patients to identify subsequent complications, management and outcomes. The majority of patients with proximal femoral fractures required surgical intervention. 9 patients who had fractures of the greater trochanter of the femur without fracture extension across the femoral neck were managed non-operatively. 40 (25%) patients had fractures of the pelvis, with a combined pubic rami and sacral fracture occurring frequently. The most common diagnosis was a soft tissue injury alone that was seen in 60 (38%) patients imaged. Injuries to the gluteal muscle group, iliopsaos complex and trochanteric bursa were most prevalent. All patients with soft tissue injuries or fractures of the pelvis were successfully managed non-operatively. This study highlights a wide range of differential diagnoses in elderly patients presenting with acute traumatic hip pain. The proximal femur was fractured in 33% of patients imaged for OHFs in our series. There is a great need to make a rapid differential clinical diagnosis of COVID-19 among respiratory disease patients and determining the prevalence rate of these diseases among the COVID-19 population.

Approximately 522 patients with allergic rhinitis, asthma, COPD, and COVID-19 were analysed for demographic and clinical features. Radiological features were analysed only for COVID-19 patients.

COPD and asthma were more common among COVID-19 patients than allergic rhinitis. All chest CT scans of COVID-19 patients showed bilateral ground-glass opacity. Fever, dry cough, diarrhea, loss of sense of smell and taste, shortness of breath, and blue lips were significantly higher in all COVID-19 patients compared to COPD, asthma, and allergic rhinitis patients.

The present study aimed to determine the factors affecting the use of cleaning products at the home environment and the frequency of problems during the coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) pandemic.

This cross-sectional research was performed online between 30 August 2020 and 15 September 2020. The population of the study consisted of adults aged between 18 and 80years, affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Data collection forms (introductory information and risk perception form and cleaning products usage characteristics form) were shared through Web2 tools. The questionnaire study was completed with 674 participants between the ages of 18 and 80years in Turkey. Descriptive statistics and classification tree were used in the analysis of the data. Statistical significance was accepted as P≤.01 in all analyses.

During the pandemic period compared with the pre-pandemic period, it was observed that the frequency of cleaning (69.3%) and the amount of cleaning product usage (74.2%) increased significantly and theuman beings have been found to increase the frequency of cleaning and using cleaning products. Compared with the numerous measures assessing consumer perspectives of recovery, only a few measures have been developed to assess Mental Health Professionals' (MHPs) perspectives of recovery to inform practice. The present study aims to systematically review the literature to identify existing measures designed to assess MHPs' perspectives of recovery and evaluate their psychometric properties, and the methodological considerations of the design and use of these measures. We searched literature across eight electronic databases MEDLINE, Web of Science, PsycINFO, PsyArticles, CINAHL, Scopus, EMBASE, and Google scholar. We identified 2631 articles across all databases. Of these, 40 articles met the inclusion criteria, which comprised 14 original measures assessing mental health recovery and 26 articles reassessing the psychometric properties of the original 14 measures. Our results suggested that while there are existing measures for assessing MHPs' perspectives of recovery, only a few of these measures met standard evaluation criteria for psychometric properties.
