High compatibility and good rubber-filler interactions are required in order to obtain high quality products. Rubber-filler and filler-filler interactions can be influenced by various material factors, such as the presence of processing aids. BBI608 purchase Although different processing aids, especially the plasticizers, and their effects on compatibility have been investigated in the literature, their influence on rubber-filler interactions in highly active filler reinforced mixtures is not explicit and has not been investigated in depth. For this purpose, the influence of treated distillate aromatic extract (TDAE) oil content and its addition time on interactions between silica and rubber chains were investigated in this study. Rubber-filler and filler-filler interactions of uncured and cured silica-filled SBR/BR blends were characterized by using rubber layer L concept and dynamic mechanical analysis, whereas mechanical properties were studied by tensile test and Shore A hardness. Five parts per hundred rubber (phr) TDAEensile modulus of the vulcanizates and its reduction with higher amplitudes were incontrovertibly high among the vulcanizates with lower oil content, which were 13.57 and 4.49 MPa, respectively. When any consequential change in mechanical properties of styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR)/butadiene rubber (BR) blends could not be observed at different TDAE addition time, increasing amount of oil in blends enhanced elongation at break, and decreased Shore A hardness and tensile strength.Over the last few decades, many efforts have been put into fields that explore the potential benefits of antioxidants, especially with regards to aging, cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and neurodegenerative diseases. [...].Prevalence of childhood obesity is progressively increasing, reaching worldwide levels of 5.6% in girls and of 7.8% in boys. Several evidences showed that obesity is a major preventable risk factor and disease modifier of some respiratory conditions such as asthma and Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome (OSAS). Co-occurrence of asthma and obesity may be due to common pathogenetic factors including exposure to air pollutants and tobacco smoking, Western diet, and low Vitamin D levels. Lung growth and dysanapsis phenomenon in asthmatic obese children play a role in impaired respiratory function which appears to be different than in adults. Genes involved in both asthma and obesity have been identified, though a gene-by-environment interaction has not been properly investigated yet. The identification of modifiable environmental factors influencing gene expression through epigenetic mechanisms may change the natural history of both diseases. Another important pediatric respiratory condition associated with obesity is Sleep-Disordered Breathing (SDB), especially Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome (OSAS). OSAS and obesity are linked by a bidirectional causality, where the effects of one affect the other. The factors most involved in the association between OSAS and obesity are oxidative stress, systemic inflammation, and gut microbiota. In OSAS pathogenesis, obesity's role appears to be mainly due to mechanical factors leading to an increase of respiratory work at night-time. However, a causal link between obesity-related inflammatory state and OSAS pathogenesis still needs to be properly confirmed. To prevent obesity and its complications, family education and precocious lifestyle changes are critical. A healthy diet may lead to an improved quality of life in obese children suffering from respiratory diseases. The present review aimed to investigate the links between obesity, asthma and OSAS, focusing on the available evidence and looking for future research fields.Developing urban low-carbon traffic is an effective measure to reduce traffic carbon emissions, which are important parts of greenhouse gas. In order to understand the development characteristics and regular patterns of urban low-carbon traffic, we present a game model that enables us to predict the possible range of travel mode choice and the impact of low-carbon awareness. Through chaos analysis and simulation of the model, the authors come to realize that the proportions of travel mode choice can reach an equilibrium under a certain urban traffic system. This equilibrium is related to low-carbon awareness and the situation of the urban traffic system. The research we have done suggests that in small cities with undeveloped traffic systems, the most effective measure to achieve urban low-carbon traffic is to increase the comprehensive costs of high-carbon travel. However, in big cities with developed traffic systems, raising low-carbon awareness of residents can greatly increase the proportion of low-carbon travelers and improve the stability of travel mode choice. The results could provide development strategies and policy suggestions for urban low-carbon traffic and reduce the adverse impact of urban traffic emissions on public health. The pooling layer is at the heart of every convolutional neural network (CNN) contributing to the invariance of data variation. This paper proposes a pooling method based on Zeckendorf's number series. The maximum pooling layers are replaced with Z pooling layer, which capture texels from input images, convolution layers, etc. It is shown that Z pooling properties are better adapted to segmentation tasks than other pooling functions. The method was evaluated on a traditional image segmentation task and on a dense labeling task carried out with a series of deep learning architectures in which the usual maximum pooling layers were altered to use the proposed pooling mechanism. Not only does it arbitrarily increase the receptive field in a parameterless fashion but it can better tolerate rotations since the pooling layers are independent of the geometric arrangement or sizes of the image regions. Different combinations of pooling operations produce images capable of emphasizing low/high frequencies, extract ultrametric contours, etc.Poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) and poly(caprolactone-co-glycolic acid) (PCLGA) solutions were electrospun into membranes with tailored fiber diameter of 1.8 μm. This particular fiber diameter was tuned depending on the used co-polymer by adjusting the electrospinning parameters that mainly influence the fiber diameter. The greatest setting of the fiber diameter was achieved by varying the polymer solution parameters (polymer concentration, solvents and solvents ratio). PLGA was adequately electrospun with 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-propanol (HFIP), whereas PCLGA required a polar solvent (such as chloroform) with a lower dielectric constant. Moreover, due to the amorphous morphology of PCLGA, pyridine as salt had to be added to the starting solution to increase its conductivity and make it electrospinnable. Indeed, the electrospinning of this co-polymer presents notable difficulties due to its amorphous structure. Interestingly, PCLGA, having a higher glycolic acid molar fraction than commonly electrospun co-polymers (caprolactoneglycolic acid ratio of 4555 instead of 9010), could be successfully electrospun, which has not been reported to date.
