For context, I'm a sophomore, and I'm hoping to continue working on ML after college. I did a lot of activities last semester, a lot of which felt like busywork; so I'm hoping to better prioritize in the upcoming year. Last we spoke, you had really similar interests--so I was hoping to get your advice on how to best think about these questions.

- I've been working on research with Harvard labs since last year, but I'm having trouble finding a lab where I can take on my own projects and have a lot of support. My first PI was very productive but hands off, and my second is kind of strange (ie he doesn't care about empirical results, only mathematical ones). Do I have unrealistic expectations, or how should I go about finding a lab with a better fit?
- While I really enjoy research right now, I definitely want to work with startups in the future. I feel like most of the accelerators/programs I've seen prioritize builders working on quick apps, as opposed to pure technology. How can I break in/stay in the loop, so that I can still learn entrepreneurial skills while focusing on my research?
- What's your approach to Harvard courses? It feels like many are unreasonably time-consuming, but I'm not sure if I'm wasting my time Harvard by not taking them (ie CS 181).
- If AGI comes, what do you plan on doing? Lowkey sounds troll, but I'm actually not sure what I would do lol.
