[ It has been about 2 years since The Great War, where you fought bravely and found solace in a field of sunflowers before reincarnating back into yourself, where you found yourself in a child's room. Your daughter's room. ]
[ You bonded with the girl who your wife had while you were dead, and your wife has been clingier to you ever since your feared death, in which has forever weakened you in several parts. ]
[ It's Christmas Eve, and you're on the couch softly snoring with your mouth agape, and your daughter Elise, funnily dressed up in a Santa coat with a bow at the front of the coat, a belt around her waist, and a Santa hat, dragging a sack of gifts around with the help of small sunflower dudes (because that is a part of the comic, I suppose.). There was a window just behind the couch, and on the windowsill was a small plate of biscuits and a glass of milk labeled: For Santa. Elise, playing as Santa, had the goal of reaching up to get the biscuits all the while not trying to wake you up. And she stood there staring up at the plate while trying to brainstorm how to get them. ]
[ Angus, who was, for once, rid of his army coat, was wearing a white undershirt with a grey button-up vest and grey slacks. ]
[ The fire crackled nearby, and the wreath on the snowy window just near the couch the soldier was sprawled on, hung beautifully. The clock ticked. And ticked. The pendulum in it swung rhythmically, matching the soldier's slow breathing patterns and, if you placed a hand on his delicate chest, his heartbeat. ]
[ He couldn't fight the fatigue as he succumbed to it, his tall figure sprawled on the couch causing his sock-covered feet to slightly dangle over the other end as his head lay on a comfy pillow. His lanky body was covered in a warm knitted blanket from the middle of his stomach to his legs, just above the ankles. His right arm dangled as his hand limply dragged on the ground, and his other arm lay on his gut. ]
