Dopamine is a biologically active compound belonging to catecholamines. It plays its roles in the human body, acting both as a circulating hormone and neurotransmitter. It acts through G-protein-coupled receptors divided into two subgroups D1-like receptors (D1R and D5R) and D2-like receptors (D2R, D3R, D4R). Physiologically, dopamine receptors are involved in central nervous system functions motivation or cognition, and peripheral actions such as blood pressure and immune response modulation. Increasing evidence indicates that the dopamine D1 receptor may play a significant role in developing different human neoplasms. This receptor's value was presented in the context of regulating various signaling pathways important in tumor development, including neoplastic cell proliferation, apoptosis, autophagy, migration, invasiveness, or the enrichment of cancer stem cells population. Recent studies proved that its activation by selective or non-selective agonists is associated with significant tumor growth suppression, metastases prevention, and tumor microvasculature maturation. It may also exert a synergistic anti-cancer effect when combined with tyrosine kinase inhibitors or temozolomide. This review provides a comprehensive insight into the heterogeneity of dopamine D1 receptor molecular roles and signaling pathways in human neoplasm development and discusses possible perspectives of its therapeutic targeting as an adjunct anti-cancer strategy of treatment. We highlight the priorities for further directions in this research area.The skin plays an important role in the maintenance of the human's body physiological homeostasis. Several-stage TVAs are used to increase the voltage amplitude. However, inter-stage design issues between each TVA block may reduce the voltage amplitude and bandwidth because the electronic components of the amplifier are nonlinearly operated at the desired frequency ranges. To compensate for this effect, we propose a novel inter-stage output voltage amplitude improvement (OVAI) circuit integrated with a class-B TVA circuit. We performed fundamental A-mode pulse-echo tests using a 15-MHz immersion-type piezoelectric transducer to verify the design. The echo amplitude and bandwidth when using an inter-stage OVAI circuit integrated with a class-B TVA circuit (696 mVPP and 29.91%, respectively) were higher than those obtained when using only the class-B TVA circuit (576 mVPP and 24.21%, respectively). Therefore, the proposed OVAI circuit could be beneficial for increasing the output amplitude of the class-B TVA circuit for mobile ultrasound machines.CpG-oligodeoxynucleotides (CpG-ODNs) mimicking the function of microbial CpG-dideoxynucleotides containing DNA (CpG-DNA) are potent immune stimuli. The immunostimulatory activity and the species-specific activities of a CpG-ODN depend on its nucleotide sequence properties, including CpG-hexamer motif types, spacing between motifs, nucleotide sequence, and length. Toll-like receptor (TLR) 9 is the cellular receptor for CpG-ODNs in mammalian species, while TLR21 is the receptor in avian species. Chicken and duck TLR21s contain 972 and 976 amino acid residues, respectively, and differ available for other species.The objective of this study is to evaluate the rheological properties of SBS/CRP composite modified asphalt under different aging conditions in alpine cold regions. In this study, the styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) block copolymer, crumb rubber powder (CRP), softeners and various additives were used to prepare the SBS/CRP composite modified asphalt. The 4.5% SBS modified asphalt and SK90 virgin asphalt were also selected for comparing. The thin film oven test (TFOT) and pressure aging vessel (PAV) aging test were conducted to simulate the different aging conditions. The frequency sensitivity, high-temperature deformation resistance and low-temperature crack resistance of SBS/CRP composite modified asphalt under different aging conditions were studied by the dynamic shear rheometer (DSR) and bending beam rheometer (BBR) test. The results show that the frequency sensitivity of SBS/CRP composite modified asphalt is the lowest. At low and medium temperatures, it has relatively low strength and good flexibility. The master curve of composite modulus for the unaged and aged SBS/CRP composite modified asphalt is in a cluster state.
