Conclusion No overall significant differences were found in susceptibility and R2* values of deep gray structures to suggest retained iron in the brain between ferumoxytol-exposed and unexposed children and young adults with arteriovenous malformations and in those exposed to ferumoxytol over time. © RSNA, 2020.Background Improving the differentiation of uterine sarcomas from atypical leiomyomas remains a clinical challenge and is needed to avoid inappropriate surgery. Purpose To develop a diagnostic algorithm including diffusion-weighted MRI criteria to differentiate malignant uterine sarcomas from benign atypical leiomyomas. Materials and Methods This case-control retrospective study identified women with an atypical uterine mass at MRI between January 2000 and April 2017, with surgery or MRI follow-up after 1 year or longer. A diagnostic algorithm including T2-weighted MRI and diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) signal and apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values was developed to predict for sarcoma. The training set consisted of 51 sarcomas and 105 leiomyomas. Two external validation sets were used to evaluate interreader reproducibility (16 sarcomas; 26 leiomyomas) and impact of reader experience (29 sarcomas; 30 leiomyomas). Wilson confidence intervals (CIs) were calculated for sensitivity and specificity. Resnclusion A diagnostic algorithm with predictive features including lymphadenopathy, high diffusion-weighted imaging signal with reference to endometrium, and low apparent diffusion coefficient enabled differentiation of malignant sarcomas from atypical leiomyomas, and it may assist inexperienced readers. © RSNA, 2020 Online supplemental material is available for this article. Purpose To identify differences in screening outcomes, including rates of recall, false-positive (FP) findings, biopsy, cancer detection rate, positive predictive value of recalls and biopsies, and histopathologic tumor characteristics by density using DBT combined with two-dimensional synthetic mammography (SM) (hereafter, DBT+SM) versus DM. Materials and Methods This randomized controlled trial comparing DBT+SM and DM was performed in Bergen as part of BreastScreen Norway, 2016-2017. Automated software measured density (Volpara Density Grade [VDG], 1-4). The outcomes were compared for DBT+SM versus DM by VDG in descriptive analyses. A stratified log-binomial regression model was used to estimate relative risk of outcomes in subgroups by screening technique. Results Data included 28 749 women, 14 380 of whom were screened with DBT+SM and 14 369 of whom were screened with DM (both grok of recall and screen-detected breast cancer increased with denser breasts for DBT+SM but not for DM. © RSNA, 2020 Online supplemental material is available for this article. Enantioselective in vitro attributes and absolute oral pharmacokinetics for (-)-LFN and (+)-LFN have been characterized in mice. No stereoselectivity was seen with either of the enantiomers when compared with rac-LFN in the executed in vitro studies (solubility, metabolic stability, protein binding, permeability and blood partitioning). Post intravenous or oral administration of rac-LFN, the AUC0-∞ and MRT of (+)-LFN was higher over (-)-LFN, which is reflected in higher clearance value for (-)-LFN. Following (-)-LFN intravenous administration to mice, the key PK parameters were comparable to (-)-LFN from rac-LFN; however, post intravenous administration of (+)-LFN alone to mice, the AUC0-∞ was 1.3-fold higher than (+)-LFN from rac-LFN. Similarly, post oral administration of (-)-LFN to mice, both AUC0-∞ and Cmax were 1.3-fold higher than (-)-LFN from rac-LFN. On other hand, (+)-LFN showed 1.4-fold higher AUC0-∞ and 1.7-fold higher Cmax post oral administration over (+)-LFN from rac-LFN.Objectives This study assessed the ability of coaches to rank-order distance runners on running economy (RE) through visual assessment. Methods Running economy was measured in five trained recreational distance runners at a speed of 3.57 m·s-1, with a minimum VO2 difference of 2-mL.kg-1.min-1 between adjacent runners. Following measurement of RE, participants were filmed from the front, side, and rear while running on a treadmill. Endurance coaches from high school to international level (N = 121) viewed each video and ranked the runners on a scale from 1 (most economical) to 5 (least economical). Coaches also completed a demographic questionnaire and listed running style biomechanical observations they used in determining each ranking. These factors were then compared to an objective measure of reliability (Mean Time Between Failures) in order to determine which factors would be most predictive of plant reliability and process safety. Maintenance personnel were surveyed using scales based on Problem-solving, Vigilance, Design and maintenance, Job-related feedback and Information about change. Analysis of Variance was used to assess the strength of these variables in relation to Reliability Level. Significant differences were observed between different reliability levels based on workforce perceptions of problem-solving requirements and the design and maintainability of plant. Conclusions were that perceptions of human factors in the workplace can be predictive of group-level performance, and that if issues relating to design and maintainability are not addressed at the design stage, greater problem-solving abilities will be required from maintenance personnel.
