Dedifferentiated/undifferentiated endometrial carcinoma (DDEC/UEC) is an endometrial cancer characterized by the presence of histologically undifferentiated carcinoma. Genomic inactivation of core switch/sucrose nonfermentable (SWI/SNF) complex proteins was recently identified in approximately two-thirds of DDEC/UEC. The aim of this study was to delineate the clinical behavior of SWI/SNF-deficient DDEC/UEC in comparison to SWI/SNF-intact DDEC/UEC. The study cohort consisted of 56 SWI/SNF-deficient DDEC/UEC (2 POLE-mutated), which showed either SMARCA4 (BRG1) loss, ARID1A/1B co-loss, or SMARCB1 (INI1) loss in the undifferentiated tumor, and 26 SWI/SNF-intact DDEC/UEC (4 POLE-mutated). The average age at diagnosis was 61 years for patients with SWI/SNF-deficient tumors and 64 years for SWI/SNF-intact tumors. Mismatch repair (MMR) protein deficiency was seen in 66% of SWI/SNF-deficient and 50% of SWI/SNF-intact tumors. At initial presentation, 55% of patients with SWI/SNF-deficient tumors had extrauterine diseas conventional platinum/taxane-based chemotherapy. This underscores the importance of accurate clinical recognition of this aggressive tumor and the need to consider alternative systemic therapy for these tumors.
The aim of the study was two-fold (1) to test the psychometric properties of the Person-Centered care Climate Questionnaire-Patient-Finnish version (PCQ-P-Fin), and (2) to examine the associations between older patients' perceptions of the PCC climate and their perceptions of individuality in care delivered within acute care settings for older people.
An exploratory, correlational, cross-sectional survey design.
The study was conducted within acute care settings for older people with heart failure (n=111, response rate 54%). Data were collected with self-completed questionnaires, the Person-Centered care Climate Questionnaire-Patient version (PCQ-P-Fin) and the Individualized Care Scale-Patient (ICS-Patient-B), between 6/2016 and 5/2017. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficients, exploratory factor analysis and a Rasch analysis.
The PCQ-P-Fin showed satisfactory structural, construct and concurrent validity and high reliability. The ICS-B-Patient and the PCQ-P-Fin correlated strongly positive suggesting an association between the perceptions of individuality in care and the care climate.
The PCQ-P-Fin is a useful, reliable and valid tool. Characteristics of the care environment, especially the climate and the extent to which this is perceived to be person-centred, may be used to enhance perceptions of individualised care.

The clinical diagnosis of Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) depends on rating scale evaluation, which introduces subjectivity. Thus, objective indicators of ASD are of great interest to clinicians. In this study, we sought biomarkers from resting-state electroencephalography (EEG) data that could be used to accurately distinguish children with ASD and typically developing (TD) children.
We recorded resting-state EEG from 46 children with ASD and 63 age-matched TD children aged 3 to 5years. Angiotensin II human datasheet We applied singular spectrum analysis (SSA) to the EEG sequences to eliminate noise components and accurately extract the alpha rhythm.
When we used individualized alpha peak frequency (iAPF) and individualized alpha absolute power (iABP) as features for a linear support vector machine, ASD versus TD classification accuracy was 92.7%.
This study suggested that our methods have potential to assist in clinical diagnosis.

In doping control, GC/C/IRMS is the method of choice to differentiate between an endogenous or exogenous origin of urinary NorA. In some cases, after the consumption of wild boar offal, the δ13 C values of urinary NorA fulfill the criteria of an adverse analytical finding due to differing food sources of boar and consumer. However, consumption of wild boar's offal is not very common in Germany, and thus, the occurrence of such an analytical finding is unlikely. In contrast, the commerce with wild boar meat has increased in Germany within the last years. Up to 20,000 tons of wild boar meat are annually consumed. In order to probe for the probability of the occurrence of urinary NorA after consumption of wild boar meat, human urine samples were tested following the ingestion of commercially available game. In approximately half of the urine samples, traces of NorA were detected postadministration of 200 to 400 g boar meat. The highest urinary concentration was 2.9 ng/ml, and significant amounts were detected up to 9 h after the meal. δ13 C values ranged from -18.5‰ to -23.5‰, which would have led to at least two adverse analytical findings if the samples were collected in an antidoping context. IRMS analysis on German boar tissue samples showed that δ13 C values for wild boar's steroids are unpredictable and may vary seasonally.Understanding the differential rates of incident hypertension among People Living with HIV (PLWH) based of duration of exposure to combination antiretroviral therapy (cART) may provide insights into the pathogenesis of hypertension in this population. Utilizing the dataset of a prospective study conducted at a Ghanaian tertiary medical center, we evaluated factors associated with incident hypertension among PLWH previously naïve to cART before study enrollment (cART newly prescribed group, n = 221) versus PLWH established on cART for at least a year (cART established group, n = 212). New-onset hypertension was diagnosed as clinic BP > 140/90 mmHg on two separate clinic visits over 12-month follow-up. Cox proportional hazards regression models were used to assess factors associated with incident hypertension. Mean age of new versus cART established was 41.1 ± 8.2 versus 45.1 ± 8.6 years (p less then .001), with more women in the cART established group (68.3 vs. 82%, p = .0009). There were 105 (24.3%) episodes of incident hypertension over 328 person-years follow-up (PYFU), incidence rate of 320.
