A comprehensive database search will be undertaken in MEDLINE, Embase, and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials. see more The trial registers to be searched will include PROSPERO and AllTrials. The search strategy will include the keywords pediatric/paediatric, supracondylar, nerve injury/palsy/palsies, fracture, and humerus. Titles and abstracts will be screened by independent reviewers for suitability against the inclusion criteria, with accepted publications then being assessed in full with data extraction, synthesis, and assessment of methodological quality, using standardized critical appraisal tools from JBI.

The objective of the review is to explore randomized controlled trials on disease-modifying therapies for relapsing multiple sclerosis to identify and quantify the different outcome measures, instruments and definitions of efficacy, safety outcomes, health-related quality of life instruments and population subgroups.
A wide range of therapies are available for relapsing multiple sclerosis, as well as a wide range of outcome measures and definitions, which can be explained by the absence of a core outcome set for this disease. Establishing a core outcome set is fundamental for guiding future studies as they improve the consistency and relevance of new findings and enable the results of trials to be compared and combined. These features are especially important for relapsing multiple sclerosis due to the limited number of head-to-head studies on this disease. Although many systematic reviews and meta-analyses have focused on the efficacy and safety of disease-modifying therapies in relapsing multiple sclero study characteristics, outcome measures, definitions and population subgroups. Data will be presented in graphical or tabular form, accompanied by a narrative summary.
The objective of this review is to evaluate and synthesize the evidence for the effectiveness of air polishing as a method of oral prophylaxis in the orthodontic setting.
Orthodontic treatment to adjust tooth and jaw alignment typically involves wires and bands that trap plaque, thus increasing the risk of developing dental caries. Oral prophylaxis to maintain oral hygiene and prevent tooth and gum disease is typically done through conventional methods or air polishing. There have been no systematic reviews published that evaluate the effectiveness of these prophylactic techniques in this setting. This systematic review will focus on air polishing in the orthodontic setting only.
This review will consider studies with children and adult orthodontic patients undergoing oral prophylaxis as well as prophylaxis of orthodontic appliances. Studies to be included will investigate air polishing with powders compared to any other powder or method of oral prophylaxis. Air polishing versus no intervention will also be included. A range of clinical outcomes will be examined including treatment times and patient comfort as well as adverse effects on orthodontic appliances.
The JBI approach to critical appraisal, study selection, data extraction, and synthesis will be used. Databases to be searched will include PubMed, Embase, DOSS, and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials. Unpublished literature will be searched in ProQuest Dissertations and Theses, ClinicalTrials.gov, and Google Scholar. Only studies in English will be considered, with no publication date restriction.

The objective of this review will be to determine the association between exposure to artificial sources of ultraviolet radiation and ocular diseases.
Numerous studies have established the association between natural ultraviolet radiation and ocular diseases in humans. However, the evidence of the association between artificial sources of ultraviolet radiation and ocular diseases has not been reviewed.
The proposed review will include studies with participants of any age and sex, and documented exposure to artificial sources of ultraviolet radiation and incidence of ocular diseases.
Databases including PubMed and Embase will be searched. Study selection and full-text screening will be done by two independent reviewers. The search results will be presented in a Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) flow diagram. Critical appraisal of the eligible studies for methodological quality will be conducted using JBI checklists. All studies, regardless of their methodological quality, will undergo data extraction and synthesis using standardized data extraction tools. Quantitative papers will, where possible, be pooled in statistical meta-analysis. Heterogeneity will be assessed statistically using the standard χ, and also explored using relevant subgroup analyses based on the different quantitative study designs included in this review. Where statistical pooling is not possible, the findings will be presented in narrative form including tables and figures.

The objective of this review is to evaluate the experiences of family members of patients who receive targeted temperature management following the return of spontaneous circulation after a cardiac arrest.
Since 2002, targeted temperature management has become an international standard of care for the preservation of neurological status for patients following a cardiac arrest and who remain comatose. During this process, survivors are placed into a mild hypothermic state with their body temperature maintained at 32°C to 36°C for a minimum of 24 hours. It is during this time that family members experience the uncertainty of whether their loved one will survive, or if any negative long-term sequelae will be experienced. While much is known about the physical application and management of targeted temperature management, less is known about the psychosocial aspects of this treatment.
This review will consider qualitative studies that address the experiences of family members of adult patients who have received targeted temperature management following a cardiac arrest.
CINAHL, ProQuest Nursing and Allied Health Source, PsycINFO, PubMed (MEDLINE), Scopus, Sociological Abstracts, and Web of Science will be searched for relevant studies. Studies published in English and French from 2002 onward will be considered. Two reviewers will independently appraise studies and extract qualitative data using the JBI standardized critical appraisal and extraction instruments. Findings from the review will be categorized according to similarity in meaning, and categories subjected to a meta-aggregation to produce a single comprehensive set of synthesized findings.
