The weight-updating methods have played an important role in improving the performance of neural networks. To ameliorate the oscillating phenomenon in training radial basis function (RBF) neural network, a fractional order gradient descent with momentum method for updating the weights of RBF neural network (FOGDM-RBF) is proposed for data classification. Its convergence is proved. In order to speed up the convergence process, an adaptive learning rate is used to adjust the training process. The Iris data set and MNIST data set are used to test the proposed algorithm. The results verify the theoretical results of the proposed algorithm such as its monotonicity and convergence. Some non-parametric statistical tests such as Friedman test and Quade test are taken for the comparison of the proposed algorithm with other algorithms. The influence of fractional order, learning rate and batch size is analysed and compared. Error analysis shows that the algorithm can effectively accelerate the convergence speed of gradient descent method and improve its performance with high accuracy and validity.We reviewed 341 consecutive cases of marginal zone lymphoma (MZL) (47) or follicular lymphoma (FL) (294) of which 7 were difficult to distinguish due to perceived coexpression of BCL6 and BCL2 by tumor cells in follicular foci. This stimulated us to develop dual BCL6/BCL2 immunohistochemistry, allowing us to assess coexpression among individual cells. Dual staining confirmed coexpression in 6 of 7 cases, all extranodal MZL (ENMZL) based on overall features and representing 13% of MZL in this series. These findings confirm that MZL cells have plasticity regarding protein expression within the germinal center (GC) microenvironment, an important diagnostic pitfall. Intriguingly, in all MZL expressing BCL6, non-neoplastic GC B cells within colonized follicles showed diminished or absent CD10 expression but preserved BCL6 and high ki67. This finding suggests plasticity of CD10 expression in non-neoplastic GC B cells in the context of colonization by MZL, possibly related to NF-kB dysregulation.Introduction The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by SARS-CoV-2 represents a serious health issue worldwide, with more than 61 million cases and more than 1.4 million deaths since the beginning of the epidemic near the end of 2019. It is reasonably expected that these research efforts will deliver optimized and specific therapeutic tools that will increase the preparedness of health systems to possible future epidemics.Introduction PSC is a rare liver disease that leads frequently to cirrhosis and need for liver transplantation. No medical treatment is of proven value. Liver transplantation is the only curative therapy available. There is a big medical need to find medical therapy that can alter the natural history of the disease.Areas covered The authors highlight advances in PSC, based on recent literature retrieved from PubMed until September 2020 regarding both medical and endoscopic biliary therapy.Future possibilities for treatment of PSC are discussed.Expert opinion Biliary endoscopy is the cornerstone in the treatment of dominant strictures. The current developments in these areas, as well as potential future directions, are discussed.Expert opinion The key components for incorporating VR into surgical simulators are visual and haptic rendering. These components ensure that the user is completely immersed in the virtual environment and can interact in the same way as in the physical world. The key components for the application of AR and MR into surgical simulators include the tracking system as well as the visual rendering.
