Degrees of Parent Consuming inside the Presence of Young children: An Search for Attitudinal Fits.
Various osteotomy methods have been proposed in the treatment of cubitus varus. We designed an improved stepped osteotomy to achieve improved deformity correction. We refer to this new approach as double-closed wedge broken-line osteotomy and report a series of clinical and imaging results (deformity correction, range of motion [ROM], function, osteotomy healing, and complications) of patients with cubitus varus treated with this technique.Between July 2014 and July 2019, we treated 9 cases of cubitus varus using the new technique. The study was conducted in accordance with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki, and the study protocol was approved by the ethics committee of Shenzhen Children's Hospital. We compared preoperative and postoperative clinical and imaging parameters (humeral elbow-wrist angle, elbow ROM) in all patients. Postoperative evaluation was performed by telephone interview and outpatient review. Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is the most common malignant tumor of the hematopoietic system, which seriously threatens the lives of patients. Most AML patients have acute onset, severe condition, and poor prognosis. The present study aimed to comprehensively evaluate the effectiveness and safety of chemotherapy combined with different doses of interleukin-2 (IL-2) maintenance treatments in AML by Bayesian network meta-analysis (NMA).

From its inception until October 2021, we will search PubMed, Cochrane Library, CNKI, Embase, and other databases to comprehensively collect randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of chemotherapy combined with different doses of IL-2 maintenance therapies for AML. Two independent researchers will complete the literature screening and data extraction according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and then independently conduct a bias risk assessment of all the evidence. Bayesian NMA was used to evaluate all the evidence comprehensively. Use STATA16.0 and WinBUGS1.4.3 software to process and analyze all data, and classify the quality of evidence in NMA according to grading of recommendations assessment, development, and evaluation .

The study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of chemotherapy combined with different doses of IL-2 maintenance therapies for AML.

Mutations of connector enhancer of kinase suppressor of Ras-2 (CNKSR2) gene were identified as the cause of Houge type of X-linked syndromic mental retardation. The mutations of CNKSR2 gene are rare, we reporta patient carrying a novel nonsense mutation of CNKSR2,c.625C > T(p.Gln209∗) and review the clinical features and mutations of CNKSR2 gene for this rare condition considering previous literature.

We report a case of a 7-year and 5-month-old Chinese patient with clinical symptoms of intellectual disability, language defect, epilepsy and hyperactivity. Genetic study revealed a novel nonsense variant of CNKSR2, which has not been reported yet.

According to clinical manifestations, genetic pattern and ACMG classification of mutation site as Class 1-cause disease, the patient was diagnosed as Houge type of X-linked syndromic mental retardation caused by CNKSR2 gene mutation.

The patient was administrated with a gradual titration of valproic acid (VPA).

On administration of valproic acid, he had no further seizures.

This is the first time to report a nonsense variant in CNKSR2, c.625C > T(p.Gln209∗), this finding could expand the spectrum of CNKSR2 mutations and might also support the further study of Houge type of X-linked syndromic mental retardation.

COVID-19 presentation is multifaceted and up to 44% of patients affected by COVID-19 experience musculoskeletal complaints, mostly in the form of diffuse aspecific arthromyalgias. Nevertheless, only a few cases of arthritis following SARS-CoV2 infection are reported.

Diagnostic work-up and differential diagnosis were made difficult by patient isolation, absence of lab tests, and his visit via telemedicine, even though signs of first metacarpophalangeal joint involvement were clear.

Due to the inefficacy of acetaminophen and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, the patient was prescribed oral steroids with a rapid benefit.

The patient's response to oral steroid was prompt and maintained even after therapy tapering. Even so, a formal diagnosis was not possible due to a difficult diagnostic work-up and lack of a long-term follow-up.

To compare the clinical effect of Bulldog clamps with traditional Pringle for vascular occlusion during laparoscopic hepatectomy.One hundred ten patients were retrospectively investigated in this research from December 2014 to January 2019 in the second hospital of Anhui Medical University, who underwent laparoscopic liver resection using Bulldog (modified group, n = 54) and cotton tourniquet (traditional group, n = 56) for blocking the liver inflow-blood.
