Hello, My name is Sir Edmund Barton. I travelled into the future to tell you about myself and what I have done for Australia.

I am an old Laddy these days but when I was younger I was Australia's first Prime Minister, but I will talk about that later, for now, let's start from the begining. I was born in the Sydney suburb of Glebe. I was the ninth child of my English parents William Barton (who was a stockbroker) and Mary Louise Barton. I was baptised at St James Church, Sydney on the 4th of July 1849. I went to school at the Fort Street Model School and also I attended Sydney Grammar School. I luckily recieved school captain twice and met a great friend, Richard O'Connor. I later graduated with first-class honours and the University Medal in classics from the University of Sydney.

I decided to became a barrister in 1871. I was on a cricketing trip to Newcastle in 1870 when I met a lovely women by the name of Jane (Jeanie) Mason Ross and I later married her in 1877. People admired me because of my intellect and also my calm temper. While a few people liked my glowing eyes, others thought I loved a good feast of food and some fine wine by how often I ate. I also have 6 kids. My sons, Oswald Barton, Edmund Alfred Barton, Arnold Hubert Barton and My Daughters, Leila Stephanie Barton, Wilfrid Alexander Barton and Jean Alice Barton.

I became Australia's Prime Minister at the age of 52 in 1901 at a Grand Ceremony in Centennial Park at Sydney on the 1st of January. Many people thaught that Federation was my one great thing. When I resigned in 1903, I decided to become a founding member of Australia's High Court.

By now I am technically meant to be dead so, Bad news for me right. Anyways I have to get back and help out in the High Court.
