1. Bentor adalah singkatan dari Becak Motor yang merupakan kendaraan roda tiga asal Gorontalo. kendaraan ini adalah ruang muatan seperti becak yang dirakit dengan menambahkan kendaraan bermotor jenis sepeda motor di bagian belakangnya.
2. Motor gede atau yang biasa kita kenal dengan sebutan “moge”, adalah sebutan untuk motor-motor yang memiliki body besar atau bertorsi besar.
3. Pada gigi 1, mesin berputar 12 kali sedangkan roda motor baru sekali. Pada gigi dua mesin berputar9 kali sedangkan roda motor baru sekali demikian seterusnya padagigi 4 putaran mesin kira-kira 4 kali putaran roda. Dari sana kalihatan pada gigi 1 putaran mesin tinggi dan putara roda perlahan. Untuk mulai menjalankan kendaraan baik mobil maupun motor diperlukan tenaga yang besar. Itulah sebabnya dipakai gigi 1 untuk mulai menjalankan motor. Setelah motor berjalan dan tenaga dapat dikurangi, maka gigi dipindah ke gigi 2 dan seterusnya. Jika karena suatu hal kecepatan dikurangi, maka gigi harus diturunkan. Gigi juga dapat diturunkan untuk keperluan membantu pengereman.
4. Kopling adalah alat yang digunakan untuk menghubungkan dua poros pada kedua ujungnya dengan tujuan untuk mentransmisikan daya mekanis.
