3. Gigi atau perseneling adalah alat untuk mengatur kecepatan motor itu sendiri. Contoh pada gigi 1 itu hanya kecepatan tak sampai 20km/jam, gigi 2 juga 20km/jam sampai 40km/jam. Harus sesuai jika tidak akan tertahan atau terlalu lambat.
4. Kopling adalah tuas penghubung dan pemutus tenaga putaran mesin dari poros engkol. Pada umumnya kopling terletak diantara primer reduksi dan transmisi, atau untuk tipe lain yang terletak pada poros engkol.
