Practitioner summary This exploratory research provides evidence of bra integration issues, breast discomfort and breast injury experienced by female soldiers when wearing body armour. Given the growing representation of women in military organisations, strategies to alleviate these issues for female users of body armour, particularly those with larger breast sizes, are required.
Mesenchymal stromal/stem cells (MSCs) hold great perspective for the therapy of a host of diseases due to regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties by differentiation into diverse cell populations, homing to damaged tissue regions, paracrine effects, and release of extracellular vesicles.
This review describes the isolation, characterization, and potential use of MSCs and ADSCs for benign and malignant diseases. The MSCs may be administered as whole cells or in form of their secretome that is held responsible for most of their beneficial effects. A special constituent of the paracrine components are the extracellular vesicles (EVs) that carry a biologically potent cargo of proteins, cytokines, and RNA.
The applications of MSCs and ADSCs are amply documented and have been investigated in preclinical models and many unregulated and a few controlled trials. Larger numbers of MSCs and ADSCs can be obtained for allogeneic transfer but imply difficulties including perseverance of the cells

Hormone therapy (HT) is an effective treatment for menopause symptoms in select women. This study aimed to determine whether there is different prevalence of HT use based on patient report by women who see different provider specialties.
This study was a cross-sectional analysis of published data from the Survey of Midlife in the United States (MIDUS), a telephone or self-administered questionnaire of 3294 participants aged 39-90 years. Postmenopausal women were included. Self-reported HT use and provider specialty seen were each assessed by one question. Univariate logistic regression assessed factors possibly related to HT use. Variables with
< 0.1 were entered into a multivariable logistic regression model.
Of the 938 postmenopausal respondents, 720 (76%) saw a gynecologist for care. One-hundred and thirty-one (13%) women used HT for menopausal symptoms. Of women using HT, 72 (55%) saw a gynecologist. When controlling for other factors, women who saw a gynecologist had three times higher odds of using HT. The most frequently seen provider specialty was not associated with use.
Women who ever see a gynecologist are more likely to use HT for menopausal symptoms, but fewer women see gynecologists as they age. Generalists are the most seen provider specialty, positioning them to counsel patients about HT.

This study was conducted to compare the similarity of the pharmacokinetics (PKs), safety, and immunogenicity of GB222, a potential bevacizumab biosimilar, to that of reference bevacizumab in Chinese healthy males.
This was a randomized, double-blind, single-dose, parallel-group clinical trial performed in 84 Chinese healthy males, who were randomly assigned to receive a single infusion dose of 1 mg/kg GB222 or bevacizumab with an 84-days follow-up. The primary endpoint was the area under the plasma concentration-time curve (AUC) from zero to the last quantifiable concentration at time t (AUC
). The second endpoints were the safety and immunogenicity evaluation. The PK bioequivalence was verified by the 90% confidence intervals (CIs) of the geometrical mean (GM) ratio for AUC
falling within the bioequivalence margin, 80-125%.
The PK profiles of GB222 and bevacizumab were comparable. The 90% CIs of GM ratio of GB222 to bevacizumab for AUC
was within the pre-specified bioequivalence margin. The most common treatment-related adverse event was sinus bradycardia. Seventeen subjects (20.2%) tested positive for anti-drug antibodies (ADAs).
GB222 was found to be comparable to bevacizumab in terms of PKs, safety, and immunogenicity for Chinese healthy males.

ChiCTR-IIR-17,011,143.In the process of exploitation, transportation and refining of high-sulfur crude oil, a large number of oil sludge (OS) with high sulfur content is produced. Pyrolysis has been proved to be an effective method for OS disposal, but for solid waste with high sulfur content, lots of sulfur-containing gases will be released during thermal disposal. The addition of calcium oxide in pyrolysis process is an economical and effective way to capture sulfur-containing gases. In order to understand the pyrolysis process of OS with CaO, a thermogravimetric analyser was used to conduct pyrolysis experiments of OS with different Ca/S molar ratios (0, 1, 2 and 3) at different heating rates (10°C/min, 20°C/min, 30°C/min and 40°C/min). The results showed that with the increase of CaO addition the derivative thermogravimetric curves showed a gentle trend. In addition, new weight loss peaks were occurred at 700-900°C and after 1100°C, which were the decomposition of calcium carbonate and calcium sulfate, respectively. The kinetic parameters were solved by Friedman, FWO, and Starink methods, and the results were similar, with an average activation energies (E) value of 214 kJ/mol.
