I. Human:
The humans and the elves have been at war for as long as they existed. They look very similar, and that's what drove humans to make them their enemies. In the eyes of the humans, night elves are savage, inferior beasts. And blood elves are demonic creatures. They believe both of the elven races seek to disguise as humans to be able to trick them them, but their disguise is imperfect: they have glowing eyes which show their inner evil and their ears are long so they can cover their horns... or so do humans claim.
II. Northern Men:
They are like humans, and though they look similar, Northern Men are stronger, faster... better in every physical way... but their intelligence is lacking: at a problem that a human could get a fast, reliable solution to, the northener just makes the problem worse. Humans are also, undeniably more beautiful than northeners.
III. Gnome [enslaved race]:
The gnomes once had a great nation, being fearless warriors and brilliant inventors!.. But that changed after a long, resourceful war. Though they were smarter and braver than humans, they were outnumbered and had to surrender. After generations and generations, now the only purpose of gnomes is to serve their masters, because now they are mindless slaves.
IV. Murloc:
The Murlocs may seem like mindless creatures to some people, but the people that think that have probably died at the hands of the Murlocs. The Murlocs speak a language that only they, and the Nagas, can understand. What lacks in their strenght, they gain in numbers, and what lacks in intelligence, makes up in fierceness.
V. Naga:
The Nagas are sea creatures that can walk the land, but gain great power from water. The Naga are a trickful race. They play mind games on their opponent to weaken them. A male Naga is considered inferior, because though it is very strong, they are almost as dumb as ogres. The female Nagas are the brightest creatures, they are very talented in the arts of deception. The Nagas have been slowly weakening the murlocs, since, in their eyes, the murlocs are much more inferior than them and they are wasting the precious water.
VI. Void Servant:
[Pontus is their only starting location]
The Void servants come from another, unknown world. The reasons for abandoning that world is unknown to outsiders, and now they are stranded here. For the better or for the worse, they need an unique crystal in their vicinity to be able to live, but that crystal is very toxic to other lifeforms. They are looking for a way to be able to live without the crystal, to be able to explore this NEW world.
VII. Night Elf:
This elven race seems to be nature's chosen race. They gain immense power near nature, and they are known for being the best hunters of this world. They can often interact with super-natural being such as spirits of nature, very, very old souls that were once great warriors. There is even rumored that there are Demi-Gods which help the Night Elves at every step. Some night elves can even shapeshift through connecting with nature, transforming themselves into an animal of the forest.
VIII. Blood Elf:
The blood elves have been constantly attacked by humans. They are a peaceful race which has a very deep connection with magic. All blood elves have, at the very least, a basic understanding of magic from the moment they are born. Some are very gifted, being able to construct hole cities in a matter of seconds, or even summon demons, though those elves are killed as soon as it discovered that they have demon blood within them. Some can barely make a piece of bread float.
IX. Orc:
The orcs are believed to have been created when a human lady married a troll man. The orcs have similar features to both trolls and humans, and they are powerful fighters, with great, dangerous goals: dominating this world... and many more to come. Though the more troll-like orcs are some of the best fighters, the more human-like orcs are attracted to magic, shamanery being the most attractive of them all.
X. Ogre:
Ogres were once legendary orcs, which conquered cities upon cities, but with time, because all they seeked was war, violence and strenght, they eventually started losing their minds, becoming more and more beast-like. The orcs tried to reason with them, but they were lost, they were not themselves anymore, they were mindless creatures looking forward to their death, which was improbable because they were strong, big beasts. Now all the ogres left, though they are few, not even one is able to communicate, and they are all located in Oggramas.
XI. Ice Troll (only Scarpeak locations):
Ice Trolls have been observed to live in both igloo-like structures and simple tents. Their igloo structures are skilfully crafted and range widely in design, many being equipped with doors, which shows that they are good engineers. Ice trolls generally live in small villages, usually located in areas shielded from icy winds. Though their name suggests otherwise, the Ice Trolls have no problem living in other climates, but they gain immense power in the presence of cold wheather.
XII. Necromancer (abominated mage):
The Necromancers were once powerful human mages, though it is their lust for power that corrupted them. They have turned to dark arts and forbidden magic to become more powerful. They learnt to bring back the death... though they were praised for it first, soon after, the undead starting attacking everything that stood in the now corrupted mage's way. The necromancers were banished from their lands, but they have formed a cult praising necromancy, for it is the strongest of magic.
XIII. Undead:
[Only undead starting locations]
Undead are corpses that were risen, by necromancers, from the death to fight again. Though they are just bodies ready to fight once they are risen, some of the risen corpses weren't destroyed, they were left behind by necromancers... left for generations and generations to wonder the land without a single purpose, some of them gained intelligence, and became able to give life to death people aswell. Centuries later, the undead are now a force to be reckoned with, ranging from the best warriors of the land, to the wisest mages to ever live.
XIV. Tauren:
Tauren have been loyal to the Orcs from the moment they met. The Tauren are smart, strong creatures... but they seek to be even stronger. The Tauren recognised that the Orcs are stronger than them, and, with time, they slowly became their best friends. They have been close for generations, if Tauren goes to war, so do the Orcs, if an Orc has been captured by enemies, the Tauren won't waste a single second to try and rescue their brother.
