Upgrades to items can be an excellent way to boost the value of your weapon and armor. However upgrading your magic and standard equipment is not worth the investment since uncommon or exclusive equipment will quickly outclass it.

Upgrades can be added to an item up to six times. Each upgrade will increase the item gauge.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade materials that can be used to boost the quality of an item's features. There are many types of glyphs and a font could contain multiple variants of each. The default glyphs in Adobe Caslon(tm) Pro, for example, include all of the common characters, as well as ornaments, swashes, fractions and ligatures. You can look up these variations in the Glyphs Panel and then insert them directly into your document.

Glyph metrics are the parameters that determine where the glyph is placed when layouts for text are created. They are determined by a mix of elements, including the advance width and side bearings. You can upgrade your skills and equipment through these NPCs however, you'll need to spend a lot on the process. Each upgrade level is priced at certain amounts of crests or Valorstones. Weapons are generally the most expensive. Additionally, you'll need to take on certain quests to obtain the required items. For example, if you want to upgrade your armor, you will require one of the three Power Dices dropped by monsters 21 and up in addition to some Erons and Minerals.

Recycled Items

Utilize cloth towels or reusable grocery bags to reduce the amount of plastics in your garbage. They can even change the form of words, such as the adjective defenseless becoming insecure.

There are a myriad of suffixes for adjectives, verbs, nouns and adjectives. Suffixes can change the meaning or pronunciation of words. Some have rules that are unique to them. Suffixes can also be used to alter the grammatical rules for the word, for instance, adding -ness to make a word an adjective, or -ic to make the noun possessive.

In addition to being used to give a new meaning to a word, suffixes can be also used in the names of places and people. A single man could have the surname "Paulauskaite", while women who are married would be able to use "Paulauskiene".

The most commonly used suffixes are those that indicate the status of a person like -ion, the suffix -ist, -us, and -es. They can also be used as a way to describe the personality of a person characteristics, such as -iveness or -phoria.

Items affixes can be used to give weapons and armor additional parameters. These can be a combination of one or more prefixes and/or suffixes such as -Fiery which increases atk power by adding fire elemental damage. Item affixes are available on most items that are level 80, with the exception of made ascended armor and crafted trinkets.
