Vortua is a world that we built out of the desire to have a more sustainable model of roleplay within the facebook chats. Usually the RPs (Roleplays) take place in a singular concept and form to become an association that is very ephemeral.

Contrary to this, Vortua is a thriving creation that is constantly growing and expanding.

You may compare Vortua's model of working to popular MMORPGs or Dungeons and Dragons if the sense that while the players have full liberty of doing whatever they please within the very wide boundaries of the world, they are shepherded by a group of dedicated moderators that oversee all the action and events.

Comparable to a Dungeon Master, FATE is an intricate system of specialized people that come to guide players into a better experience of the world by showing them sights they see, giving detailed descriptions of the lands and announcing the play by play of events taking place.

We at the head of Vortua believe in the quality of role play instead of quantity. A multitude of chats are present but are only available to you once your character is within the area the chat is based in. For example: A person with a character in both New Ashen and Loratzen will have access to both "( V ) New Ashen" And " ( V ) Loratzen" along with the Out Of Character chat (OOC) to discuss with other Vortuans.

Every 15 days, a bulletin board is presented to all Vortuans with different tasks and jobs available to them. It also contains tidbits of information about Vortua and its people, along with important news messages about anything major going on.

Please keep in mind that playing in Vortua REQUIRES a character sheet (can be found on the Wikia). Please send your character sheet to FATE so that we, the moderators might have a look at it and help you build your ideal character that fits within the world. We like to give the advice to build your character as "Level 1" so that it may have space to grow with the other players.
