Interacting with item upgraders NPCs allows players to upgrade equippable equipment. Each upgrade increases a stat, and certain upgrades can unlock additional stats, too.

Recycled items

Rerolling

Rerolling in the upgrader for an item allows players to alter the characteristics of previously acquired equipment. This option is available on most upgrade items , including weapons and armor. To activate the EZ Upgrader, the user must choose "Interact" when they interact with the dice outside the restaurant during Preparation Mode. Upgraders for items allow you to change the stats of armor, weapons, and trinkets above ilvl 385. The gear can be upgraded to increase the power of your spells, physical strength or health. The maximum ilvl of these upgrades is capped at 400, while the cost to upgrade them rises with each step up the ilvl track.

To maximize the number upgrade options, players can make several Blueprint Cabinets or Copying Desks within a single day. This allows players to add more blueprints to the inventory that the item upgrader produces which will allow for bigger Rerolls. Making multiple copies and cabinets will slow production.

Set bonus

A set bonus is a secondary stat increase for a set of mods. The strength of the set bonus increases dependent on the number of set mods that are available with it, excluding duplicates. (For example when the Warframe has both the melee and primary Mods with the Vigilante set's "Enhance critical hits" bonus it will only be counted for one). However it is not possible for a set bonus to be improved through normal fusion.

Some sets offer multiple options. The first one offers an initial bonus, while the others increase based on the number of items you wear beyond the basic amount. For instance, the Fables of the Feywild offers the set bonus at two outfitted items and a higher bonus if you wear more than that number.

Players can purchase Benthic gear from Voidbinder Zorlan in Newhome or Voidbinder Sturzah in Mezzamere for Prismatic Manapearls. Manapearls can be used to upgrade the stats of a Benthic item at an item-upgrader for an increase in ilvl, or to add stats. You can also reroll items that have identical stats by using the upgrader. In contrast to enchantments, an upgrader can't apply the same effect over and over. The item that was used to upgrade the item will remain consumed.
