At the same time, a real-time monitoring system was established for the photodegradation process of MB, which had the effect of reflecting the degradation degree of MB at any given time. Hence, ZCF@MB-MIPs are a promising candidate for use in MB monitoring, and they also provides a new strategy for constructing a multifunctional fluorescence sensor with a high selectivity and photolysis function.Clinically diagnosing low-grade gliomas and microscopic metastatic tumors in the spinal cord using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is challenging, as the blood-brain barrier (BBB) almost completely excludes the MRI contrast agent gadopentetate dimeglumine, GdDTPA (Magnevist), from the brain. The development of a more efficient, safe, and broad-spectrum glioma diagnosis and treatment would therefore have a great clinical value. Based on the high expression levels of both transferrin receptor 1 (TfR1) and low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 1 (LRP1) in BBB-related cells and glioma cells, we designed a novel protein nanoparticle, ferritin-HREV107-Angiopep-2 (Fn-Rev-Ang). We found that Fn-Rev-Ang rapidly crossed the BBB in mice and had drug-loading properties. Moreover, the brain MRI signal intensity ratio associated with Fn-Rev-Ang-GdDTPA was higher than that associated with Fn-GdDTPA alone. Importantly, gliomas with diameters below 1 mm and microscopic metastatic tumors in the spinal cord were successfully detected in mice by MRI with Fn-Rev-Ang-GdDTPA, which is not possible using the current clinical MRI technology. In addition, Fn-Rev-Ang-loaded doxorubicin had a strong inhibitory effect on mouse brain gliomas and their metastasis, which significantly prolonged the animal survival time. Thus, our newly constructed Fn-Rev-Ang nanodelivery carrier may help expand the use of MRI to the early diagnosis and treatment of microscopic tumors, thereby offering a possible basis for improving the survival rate of patients with gliomas and microscopic spinal metastatic tumors.The effect of metal foam mesh on flame propagation of biomass-derived gas in a half-open duct was studied. The explanations are based essentially on the experimental investigations of premixed biomass-derived gas explosions carried out in a rectangular half-open combustion chamber. The initial temperature T0 and pressure P0 were 300 K and 1.0 atm, respectively. The key parameters of explosive characteristics, such as flame propagation images and explosive overpressure, were analyzed by changing the porosity, the pore density of porous metal foams, and the gas components. The results show that the use of porous metal foam has a significant inhibitory effect on the gas explosion. Although the combustion structure of the flames is similar, the action of the porous metal foam during the experiment also shows the characteristics consistent with the obstacles. When the porosity of the porous foam is 97%, the flame can be stimulated to produce turbulence, and then the shock-flame interaction generated by the reflection of the lead shock wave can enhance the explosion propagation and promote the explosion escalation. However, with the increase of hole density, the existence of the porous metal foam by momentum loss and heat loss to curb the spread of the explosion not only hindered the flow of not flammable but also extracted energy from the expansion of the combustion products at the same time. This study also confirms that the biological hydrogen and methane component has a vital role in the flame, and a reasonable hydrogen and methane ratio can improve the flame burning to get more economic value.The volatile odor-active compounds of cooked rice were evaluated using a method that combined solid-phase microextraction (SPME) with gas chromatography-resonance-enhanced multiphoton ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (GC/REMPI-TOFMS). An SPME fiber was held at the upper levels of the cooked rice and given an extraction time of 5 min. By using a nanosecond ultraviolet (266 nm) pulsed laser for ionization, two compounds, 4-vinylphenol and indole, which are considered to be important for the characteristic flavor of cooked rice, could be detected from all types of cultivars measured in the present study-nonglutinous rice, glutinous rice, and aromatic rice. In the case of fresh nonglutinous rice, the amounts of introduction for 4-vinylphenol and indole to GC were ca. 70 and 20 pg, respectively. While both peak areas decreased with increases in the time needed to maintain warmth, the decreasing behaviors differed slightly with a noteworthy rapid decrease for indole. For nonglutinous rice, the peak areas for 4-vinylphenol were almost the same, whether it was fresh (measured within 1 month from harvest) or aged (measured 6-12 months after harvest), but those of indole significantly decreased following storage. We also found differences among cultivars the peak area for 4-vinylphenol in nonglutinous rice was somewhat strong; the peak area for indole was intensely strong in glutinous rice; however, the peak areas for both 4-vinylphenol and indole were weak in aromatic rice. Volatile odor-active compounds were detected in a sensitive and time-resolved manner; therefore, the proposed method could be useful for differentiating varieties of cooked rice from the viewpoints of cooking conditions, freshness, and cultivar types.
