Sam toshio, Lahir di keluarga amity pada tanggal 30 Desember. Memiliki otak yang kelewat jenius membuat ia memutuskan untuk memilih erudite sebagai faksinya. Saat dewasa, dengan otak cerdasnya itu ia dapat menjabat di 2 pekerjaan sekaligus, yaitu menjadi Kepala sekolah dfa dan salah satu master erudite. Menjabat 2 pekerjaan sekaligus tidak membuat ia hanya sibuk dengan urusan bekerjanya saja, ia juga punya teman dekat di dfa yaitu james, jevin, dan zero. Mereka ini sering disebut 'Next L-Men Winner'. Dikabarkan juga Sam dan jevin bersaing dengan ketat hanya untuk mendapatkan gelar juara L-Men. Persaingan mereka sungguh ketat, tidak ada satupun yang bisa menebak siapa pemenangnya karena mereka imbang. Beruntungnya sam, ia berhasil memenangkan kejuaraan itu. Kejuaraan itu merupakan pencapaian tertinggi menurutnya.
