In conclusion, we report 2 patients who manifested with shared and distinct presentations after an attack by the same swarm of wasps. Conjoined twins are a rare complication of monochorionic pregnancies and an extremely rare condition in spontaneous triplet pregnancies. We report a case of conjoined twins in a spontaneous monochorionic triplet pregnancy. The conjoined twins might have suffered from twin anemia-polycythemia sequence, which was reported to be extremely rare.

We initially misdiagnosed her as having monochorionic triamniotic triplets at 10 weeks of gestation. However, we confirmed conjoint twins with the monochorionic diamniotic triplet pregnancy at 12 weeks of gestation and classified them as omphalopagus.

As the woman decided to continue the pregnancy, regular and careful antenatal care was conducted.

Unexpectedly, she had a stillbirth 3 weeks later and had to terminate the pregnancy at 15 weeks of gestation. After abortion, the diagnosis of omphalopagus was confirmed in the induced fetuses. Skin cancer is a common malignant tumor in human beings. At present, the construction of clinical prediction models mainly focuses on malignant melanoma and no researchers have constructed clinical prediction models for all kind of skin cancer to predict the prognosis of skin cancer. We used patient data collected from the surveillance, epidemiology, and end results program database to construct and validate our model for clinical prediction of skin cancer, hoping to provide a reference for clinical treatment of skin cancer.R software was used for univariate and multivariate Cox regression analysis of variables to screen out factors that have an impact on the survival of skin cancer patients. Then the prognostic model of skin cancer patients was constructed and the nomogram was drawn. Concordance Index (C-index), receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve and calibration curve were used to evaluate the clinical prediction model.A total of 3180 skin cancer patients were included in this study. We construcurve for 3-year survival rate and 5-year survival rate were 0.732 and 0.768 respectively. The model calibration diagram of the modeling group also shows that the model exhibits high accuracy.The nomogram model of postoperative survival of patients with skin cancer, based on the surveillance, epidemiology, and end results program database of patients with skin cancer, has shown good stability and accuracy in multi-method validation.
To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of thermal mineral waters therapy for pain relief, and functional improvement, and quality of life (QoL) in patients with osteoarthritis (OA).

Cochrane Library, Web of science, EMBASE, ClinicalTrials.gov and PubMed were systematically searched for randomized controlled trials. Study inclusion criteria included assessment of the visual analog scale and Western Ontario and McMaster Universities scores and the lequesne index to evaluate the effects of thermal mineral waters on pain relief and functional improvement. Also, studies that used the European quality of life 5-dimension scale and health assessment questionnaire to assess the impact of thermal mineral waters therapy on improving QoL were included.

Sixteen studies were included. A meta-analysis showed that thermal mineral waters therapy could significantly reduce pain as measured visual analog scale and Western Ontario and McMaster Universities assessments (P < .001). Thermal mineral waters significantly reduced the lequesne index (P < .001) and improved joint function. Finally, compared with a control group, European quality of life 5-dimension scale and health assessment questionnaire improved significantly in patients with OA receiving thermal mineral waters therapy (P  < .05). Ewing sarcoma (ES), the second most prevalent bone malignant tumor has no widely known prognostic biomarker. Earlier studies have suggested that chaperonin containing TCP1 complex 6A (CCT6A), which encodes a molecular protein chaperone, is involved in the pathogenesis of many cancers. However, there are no known reports providing clear evidence of its role in ES pathogenesis.

We performed a bioinformatic analysis of 32 ES specimens from the GSE17618 dataset concentrating on the differences in gene expression, OS, event-free survival (EFS) in the different subgroups. Immunohistochemical studies were also performed to identify the expression levels of selected genes in ES and immediate paracancerous tissues.

After 3 screenings, CCT6A was identified to be highly correlated with ES prognosis. Our survival analysis revealed a low overall survival (OS) for high CCT6A expression (P-value = .024). Our Cox regression analysis identified CCT6A expression, lEFS, and age were strongly associated with prognosis of ES. Our multivariate Cox regression analysis shows that CCT6A (P-value = .015), age (P-value = .026), and EFS (P-value = .002) were independent poor prognostic biomarkers. Our immunohistochemical analysis showed that the expression levels of CCT6A were significantly higher in ES tissues compared to the paracancerous tissues.

From the results of our study, we identified the expression levels of CCT6A to be strongly associated with prognosis of ES. Thus, the expression levels of the CCT6A gene could serve as a biomarker for the prediction of ES prognosis.
