However, most traditional approaches conduct the detection process through a single aspect of these sites, which would fail to handle the more intricate and challenging situations. To alleviate this problem, this study proposed an automatic detection system for porn and gambling websites based on visual and textual content using a decision mechanism (PG-VTDM). This system can be applied to the intelligent wireless router at home or school to realize the identification, blocking, and warning of ill-suited websites. First, Doc2Vec was employed to learn the textual features that can be used to represent the textual content in the hypertext markup language (HTML) source code of the websites. In addition, the traditional bag-of-visual-words (BoVW) was improved by introducing local spatial relationships of feature points for better representing the visual features of the website screenshot. Then, based on these two types of features, a text classifier and an image classifier were both trained. In the decision mechanism, a data fusion algorithm based on logistic regression (LR) was designed to obtain the final prediction result by measuring the contribution of the two classification results to the final category prediction. The efficiency of this proposed approach was substantiated via comparison experiments using gambling and porn website datasets crawled from the Internet. The proposed approach outperformed the approach based on a single feature and some state-of-the-art approaches, with accuracy, precision, and F-measure all over 99%.Mutations in the gene encoding leucine-rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2) cause familial Parkinson's disease, and sequence variations are associated with the sporadic form of the disease. By contrast, RAB29 knockdown is without effect, but expression of RAB29 also rescues the pathogenic LRRK2-mediated trafficking deficits independently of Golgi integrity. Our data suggest that G2019S LRRK2 deregulates endolysosomal trafficking by impairing the function of RAB8A and RAB10, while RAB29 positively modulates non-Golgi-related trafficking events impaired by pathogenic LRRK2.Face recognition systems face real challenges from various presentation attacks. The aim of this paper is to present outcomes of investigations on the detection of various face presentation attacks in thermal infrared in various conditions including thermal heating of masks and various states of subjects. A thorough analysis of presentation attacks using printed and displayed facial photographs, 3D-printed, custom flexible 3D-latex and silicone masks is provided. The paper presents the intensity analysis of thermal energy distribution for specific facial landmarks during long-lasting experiments. Finally, a two-step deep learning-based method for the detection of presentation attacks is presented. The feasibility of a wearable system for predicting epileptic seizures using anomaly detection based on machine learning is evaluated. An original telemeter is developed for continuous measurement of R-R intervals derived from an electrocardiogram. A bespoke smartphone app calculates the indices of heart rate variability in real time from the R-R intervals, and the indices are monitored using multivariate statistical process control by the smartphone app. The proposed system was evaluated on seven epilepsy patients. The accuracy and reliability of the R-R interval measurement, which was examined in comparison with the reference electrocardiogram, showed sufficient performance for heart rate variability analysis. The results obtained using the proposed system were compared with those obtained using the existing video and electroencephalogram assessments; it was noted that the proposed method has a sensitivity of 85.7% in detecting heart rate variability change prior to seizures.
