3. Serigala biasanya mengalami musim kawin satu kali dalam setahun, yakni antara Januari dan Maret. Serigala akan melakukan perkawinan di akhir musim dingin sampai awal musim semi dan anak serigala akan lahir beberapa bulan setelahnya ketika cuaca hangat dan sumber makanan berlimpah.
4. Serigala tidak memiliki predator alami di alam karna serigala termasuk dalam jenis hewan karnivora setingkat dengan singa atau macan dan satu-satunya ancaman terbesar bagi serigala adalah kelompok serigala lain
