The paper examines the impacts of energy depletion and the human development index on China's natural resources from 1971 to 2019, while also considering the effects of CO2 emissions and economic growth. For long-run estimations, we employ advanced economic modeling, including the Phillips-Ouliaris test for integration, Gaussian identity mixed-effects Generalized Linear Models, and robust GEE population-averaged models. Natural resource value is shown by the results to be inversely proportional to CO2 emissions and economic growth, and directly proportional to the human development index and energy depletion.
