Hello and welcome to this weeks article. I am SSgt Sirarinolaf and I am taking this weeks article.
Firstly if you are new to USDF welcome! If not bye. I'm kidding. The topic I am going to be writing about is.... USDF pay grades.
In USDF we pride ourselves on hard workers. Every single one of your are awesome! And do not forget that. So in USDF when you first finish your IRDT training you are either promoted to a rank of E-1/E-2. To get promoted from E-2 you will need to get an EDFT. This will promote you to E-3 from there you will need to complete a certain amount of FEATs and work really hard in HQ to get a promotion to E-4. This is where regular pay usually starts.
The more you work, the more you earn. Regular pay is given to top performers. People who work really hard. People that try their best, always put in an effort. Regular pay could be up to 5oC each month. Try striving to be an "overachiever". You can never do to much good work! Try your best to earn points on the work tracker in any way you can. (hosting FEATs, IRDTs, EDFTs, manning the welcome desk, bar and being sentry) Remember you can earn up to try your best in everything you do.
Also for those of you that haven't reached E-4 yet you can still get your hard work noticed. It's the simple things, manners, spelling, punctuation and grammar that can help you a lot. Coins are usually given out for dedication but also 5-10c is given out in HQ at random times for anyone doing an awesome job! Also try not to ask for pay. Instead try asking how you can earn it. And remember a little kindness can go a long way.
