Many of the characteristics described were consistent with findings in the intellectual disability and typically developing literature, although novel information was identified. Transperineal minimally invasive abdominoperineal excision (TpAPE) may help minimize surgical invasiveness and make it possible to perform two-team surgery, although this procedure is regarded as difficult. The anatomical structures are complicated and have not been clearly defined, particularly on the anterior side of the anorectal junction in men. We investigated the anatomical configuration around the anterior wall of the anorectal junction, focusing on the structure of the striated muscles, to establish a standard procedure for TpAPE.

We scrutinized the T
-weighted MRI scans of 106 men, and two male cadavers were used to examine the muscular structure surrounding the anorectal junction. We established our standardized procedure for TpAPE based on these anatomical studies. We also analyzed the clinicopathological findings from five men who had undergone TpAPE at our institution.

Using MRI, we detected band-like muscles bilaterally, just medial to the puborectal muscle in all analyzed patients, which we termed the rectal anterolateral muscle. We also detected the muscles that may correspond to the rectal anterolateral muscle when inspecting the cadavers. The standardized TpAPE procedures were carried out uneventfully for the five cases, and intraoperative complications such as urethral injury and inadvertent rectal perforation did not occur.

We employ a joint modeling technique for discrete time-to-event toxicity data and repeated and continuous biomarker measurements. For the biomarker measurements, we implement a change point linear mixed effects skeleton model. This model can accommodate both plateauing and nonplateauing dose-activity relationships. For each new cohort of patients, we estimate the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) taking toxicity as a cumulative endpoint, over six treatment cycles. Then, we select the OD using two different criteria. The OD is a dose that is equally active to the MTD or a dose located on the beginning of the plateau of the dose-activity relationship. Joint modeling allows us to take into account informative censoring due to toxicities or lack of activity and we also consider consent withdrawal and intermittent missing responses. Health outcomes linked to men's relationships have the potential to both promote and risk the well-being of males and their families. The current scoping review provides a synthesis of men's relationship programs (excluding criminal court mandated services) in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom to distil predominant program designs, access points, delivery modes and evaluative strategies.

Databases CINAHL, Medline, PsycInfo and Web of Science were searched for eligible articles published January 2010 and June 2020. The inclusion criteria consisted of empirical studies focussed on relationship programs for men.

The review identified 21 articles comprising eight focussed on Fathering Identities as the Catalyst for Relationship Building and 13 targeting Men's Behaviour Change in Partner Relationships. Findings highlight the prevalence of group-based, in-person programs which men accessed via third party or self-referrals. Fathering programs highlighted the impact of men's violence on their children ius gains to be made by norming boys and men's relationship programs to prevent rather than correct violent and/or abusive behaviours.
Governments across the world use guidelines and policy to support improving the quality and nutrition in school canteens, yet little is known about what makes for success in supporting school canteens. This study aimed to investigate the factors influencing the implementation of a healthy school canteen policy.

A qualitative descriptive approach using interviews with a purposive sample of Victorian schools that had successfully implemented a healthy school canteen was conducted. Twelve interviews were conducted with principals (n=4), assistant principal (n=1), canteen managers (n=5), food services manager (n=1) and canteen staff members (n=3) across six Victorian schools. Data were analysed using a content analysis approach.

Three key themes explained the adoption of policy Values - emphasising service over profit; Knowledge - understanding of nutrition and the policy; and Support - from within and external to the school.

Implementation of school canteen policy is more likely to be achieved when a school can focus on the service and educative component of the policy and where there is a shared priority for healthy eating across the entire school community. SO WHAT? Creating a culture of service and community engagement with a healthy school canteen may increase policy implementation and should be the focus of future health promotion efforts.
