2, and 12.5 kHz by conventional and EHF PTA. Fighter pilots and ground staff serve in hazardous noise-exposed environments that cause hearing damage and subsequent NIHL, but ground staff may be more vulnerable. A comprehensive hearing conservation program should be implemented to protect high-risk service members, and especially ground staff, from high-intensity noise exposure.Parkinson's disease (PD) is a chronic movement disorder that produces a variety of characteristic movement abnormalities. The ubiquity of wrist-worn accelerometry suggests a possible sensor modality for early detection of PD symptoms and subsequent tracking of PD symptom severity. As an initial proof of concept for this technological approach, we analyzed the U.K. Biobank data set, consisting of one week of wrist-worn accelerometry from a population with a PD primary diagnosis and an age-matched healthy control population. Measures of movement dispersion were extracted from automatically segmented gait data, and measures of movement dimensionality were extracted from automatically segmented low-movement data. Using machine learning classifiers applied to one week of data, PD was detected with an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.69 on gait data, AUC = 0.84 on low-movement data, and AUC = 0.85 on a fusion of both activities. It was also found that classification accuracy steadily improved across the one-week data collection, suggesting that higher accuracy could be achievable from a longer data collection. These results suggest the viability of using a low-cost and easy-to-use activity sensor for detecting movement abnormalities due to PD and motivate further research on early PD detection and tracking of PD symptom severity.Toxoplasmosis is a zoonosis of global distribution, and Toxoplasma gondii infections are common in humans and animals worldwide. Hares and rabbits are important small game species, and their meat is consumed by humans in many countries. Demand for rabbit meat for human consumption is increasing; therefore, toxoplasmosis in rabbits and hares is of epidemiological significance. Viable T. gondii has been isolated from rabbits. The present review summarizes worldwide information on the seroprevalence, parasitological investigations, clinical cases, isolation, and genetic diversity of T. gondii in wild rabbits, free domestic rabbits, hares, and other rabbits from 2010 to 2020. Differences in prevalence, susceptibility, genetic variants, and clinical implications of T. gondii infection in rabbits and hares are discussed. This review will be of interest to biologists, parasitologists, veterinarians, and public health workers. Additional studies are needed to increase our knowledge of genetic variants and the population structure of T. gondii in rabbits and hares and to understand the differences in susceptibility to T. gondii in hares in different areas.Differential usage of Kat3 coactivators, CBP and p300, by β-catenin is a fundamental regulatory mechanism in stem cell maintenance and initiation of differentiation and repair. Based upon our earlier pharmacologic studies, p300 serine 89 (S89) is critical for controlling differential coactivator usage by β-catenin via post-translational phosphorylation in stem/progenitor populations, and appears to be a target for a number of kinase cascades. To further investigate mechanisms of signal integration effected by this domain, we generated p300 S89A knock-in mice. We show that S89A mice are extremely sensitive to intestinal insult resulting in colitis, which is known to significantly increase the risk of developing colorectal cancer. We demonstrate cell intrinsic differences, and microbiome compositional differences and differential immune responses, in intestine of S89A versus wild type mice. Genomic and proteomic analyses reveal pathway differences, including lipid metabolism, oxidative stress response, mitochondrial function and oxidative phosphorylation. The diverse effects on fundamental processes including epithelial differentiation, metabolism, immune response and microbiome colonization, all brought about by a single amino acid modification S89A, highlights the critical role of this region in p300 as a signaling nexus and the rationale for conservation of this residue and surrounding region for hundreds of million years of vertebrate evolution.Ensuring access to healthcare is critical to prevent illnesses and deaths from COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 cases in health systems that have deteriorated during the pandemic. This study aims to map the existing literature on healthcare access after the appearance of COVID-19 using an ontological framework. This will help us to formalize, standardize, visualize and assess the barriers to and drivers of access to healthcare, and how to continue working towards a more accessible health system. A total of 131 articles are included and considered for mapping in the framework. The results were also compared to the World Health Organization guidelines on maintaining essential health services to determine the overlapping and nonoverlapping areas. We showed the benefits of using ontology to promote a systematic approach to address healthcare problems of access during COVID-19 or other pandemics and set public policies. This systematic approach will provide feedback to study the existing guidelines to make them more effective, learn about the existing gaps in research, and the relationship between the two of them. These results set the foundation for the discussion of future public health policies and research in relevant areas where we might pay attention.Due to its nature, Precise Point Positioning (PPP) depends on the GNSS measurements and quality of satellite correction products used to relatively quickly provide precise and accurate positions. With the rapid evolution of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSSs), new frequencies and signals are being broadcast, which have a positive impact on PPP performance. This paper presents, for the first time, a comprehensive analysis of PPP performance from these new GPS, Galileo and BeiDou-2/3 signals, which are not yet commonly used for PPP, with correct mitigation of errors such as the estimation of GPS Block-IIF L5 variations. Satellite orbits and clocks, as well as GPS Block-IIF L5 corrections, are estimated in real-time using DLR's RETICLE engine, while the user processing is performed with York University's PPP engine. First, as a reference, PPP performance is assessed on widely used signals GPS L1/L2, Galileo E1/E5a, and BeiDou-2/3 B1-2/B3. Verubecestat Horizontal and vertical rms of 2.3 and 2.6 cm, respectively, are achieved in static processing and 5.
