Y-FF-21101 is an Yttrium-90-conjugated, chimeric mAb that is highly specific for binding to human placental (P)-cadherin, a cell-to-cell adhesion molecule overexpressed and associated with cancer invasion and metastatic dissemination in many cancer types. We report the clinical activity of
Y-FF-21101 in a first-in-human phase I study in patients with advanced solid tumors.

In-FF-21101 uptake was observed primarily in the spleen, kidneys, testes, lungs, and liver, with tumor uptake observed in the majority of patients. Organ dose estimates for all patients were below applicable limits. P-cadherin expression H-scores ranged from 0 to 242 with 40% of samples exhibiting scores ≥100. FF-21101 protein pharmacokinetics were linear with increasing antibody dose, and the mean half-life was 69.7 (±12.1) hours. GNE-049 Radioactivity clearance paralleled antibody clearance. A complete clinical response was observed in a patient with clear cell ovarian carcinoma, correlating with a high tumor P-cadherin expression. Stable disease was observed in a variety of other tumor types, without dose-limiting toxicity.

C3 glomerulopathy is a complement-mediated disease arising from abnormalities in complement genes and/or antibodies against complement components. Previous studies showed that treatment with corticosteroids plus mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) was associated with improved outcomes, although the genetic profile of these patients was not systematically analyzed. This study aims to analyze the main determinants of disease progression and response to this therapeutic regimen.

We conducted a retrospective, multicenter, observational cohort study in 35 nephrology departments belonging to the Spanish Group for the Study of Glomerular Diseases. Patients diagnosed with C3 glomerulopathy (
=81) or dense deposit disease (
=16) between January 1995 and March 2018 were enrolled. Multivariable and propensity score matching analyses were used to evaluate the association of clinical and genetic factors with response to treatment with corticosteroids and MMF as measured by proportion of patients with disease remission and kcosteroids plus MMF, and a longer treatment length of MMF was associated with a lower risk of relapse.

After placement of the apically oriented tube, he developed haemothorax. CT imaging showed an area of questionable extravasation from the left subclavian artery, directly anterior to the thoracostomy tube. His haemothorax was refractory to adequate drainage with a new thoracostomy tube. To our knowledge, F-FLAT has not previously been reported in a patient following a laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery. Identifying falciform ligament appendagitis is critical because it can prevent unnecessary hospitalisation, follow-up studies and surgery.
