There was an increase in the protein, ash, TA, vitamin C and TC contents with an increasing level of watermelon pulp fortification. When watermelon pulp fortification increased to 15g, total carotenoids content increased significantly which shows the potential to fortify mageu with lycopene, the major carotenoid in the watermelon pulp, as well beta-carotene a pro-vitamin A carotenoid. The study showed the potential of an acceptable maize mageu fortification with watermelon pulp powder to increase its nutritional and bioactive compounds, particularly lycopene.The objective of this experimental study was to evaluate the effect of twin layer solar tunnel drying on physicochemical quality of tomato slices. The novelty of this dryer is that it has two layers of trays unlike Hohenheim solar tunnel dryer which makes it to have drying capacity of more than two times compare to type hohenheim solar tunnel dryer with equal collector area. The experiment consists of two (tray position and drying position) factors with two levels of tray position (upper tray (samples exposed to direct solar radiation) and lower tray (samples are exposed to only heated air)) and three levels of drying position (collector out let,middle of the dryer and dryer out let) with three replications. During the experiment 180 kg of Tomato slices of Galilea variety with 5mm thickness were dried in the twin layer solar tunnel dryer. Data on physicochemical quality of tomato were collected and analyzed using SAS (version 9.2). software. From the experimental result; an increase in lycopene and phenolic content retention along the length of the dryer was observed while Vitamin C retention showed a decreasing trend. Large retention of total phenol, lycopene and beta carotene content were observed for the lower tray dried tomato slices compared to the upper tray dried ones. The water activity and PH values of the solar tunnel dried tomatoes were within the safe range from microbial growth, enzymatic and non-enzymatic browning. Compared to sun drying; solar tunnel dried tomatoes showed a much better nutrient retention for all quality parameters which is comparable with the data reported for energy intensive mechanical dryers.Early marriage is a form of violation of child rights to grow and develop. The Sustainable Development Goals had included early marriage in target 5.3, aiming to eliminate by 2030. This study examines the socio-demographic factors associated with women's early marriage in Bangladesh, Ghana, and Iraq using information extracted from 2019, 2017-2018, and 2018 Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICSs) of Bangladesh, Ghana, and Iraq, respectively. The chi-square test examined the association between socio-demographic factors and early marriage separately in all three countries. In logistic regression, key factors were primarily evaluated for determining effects on early marriage separately in all three countries. The mean age of the mother at first marriage was found to be 16.86, 20.23, and 20.05 years in Bangladesh, Ghana, and Iraq successively. According to surveys conducted in Bangladesh, Ghana, and Iraq, education levels of household heads and women, wealth status, mass media, number of household members, and residence were significant factors linked to early marriage. The odds of getting married early were significantly higher among women with no formal education and primary education than women with secondary or higher education in all three countries. Hence, inspired by the need for safe wireless mobile networks, the objective of the research is to increase the secrecy capacity of the wireless networks when there are moving cooperative communication devices. The technique proposed to enhance the wireless network security is organized by reinforcement learning which learns the transmit parameters according to the interaction of the transmitter, receiver, relay-node, and the eavesdropper devices. The simulation results have shown that the proposed technique has enhanced the secrecy level of the legitimate receiver.Plastic microfibre pollution produced by domestic and commercial laundering of synthetic textiles has recently been incriminated in the press and the scientific literature as the main source (up to 90%) of primary microplastics in the oceans. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is the most common microfibre encountered. This review aims to provide updated information on worldwide plastic microfibre pollution caused by textile laundering and some possibilities for its control. Release of microfibres during domestic washing and tumble drying, their fate in wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) and the oceans, and their environmental effects on the aquatic biota are discussed, as well as potential control methods at the levels of textile modification and laundry procedures. Environmental effects on aquatic biota are important; as a result of their small size and length-to-diameter ratio, microfibers are more effectively incorporated by organisms than other plastic particle groups. Simulation laundering studies may be useful in the development of a Standard Test Method and modification of WWTPs may reduce microfibre release into aquatic systems.
