Uzun zamandır Twitter'dan beklenen gece modu özelliği Android ve iOS işletim sistemlerindeki özelliklerinin sosyal medyada güncel hale gelmesiyle uygulamalar da gece modu özelliği kendi içinde işletim sisteminden bağımsız olarak işletim sistemlerinde başlamışdı. Bu özelliği ortaya atan gece modu özelliğini Twitter, Twitter uygulamasına gece modu özelliğini ekleyeceğini bir vakit önceden bildirmişti. Bu özelliği tüm sosyal ağ ve bazı siteler gece modu özelliğini Android ve iOS uygulamalarına getirdi ve kullanicilari tarafından begenildi.
Özellik aktif olmadan önce beta kullanıcıları için paylaşılan Twitter gece modu özelliği testleri tamamlandıktan sonra 27.06.2016 tarihinden itibaren Twitter Android uygulamasını kullanan tüm kullanıcılar için paylaşıldı.
Karanlık bir ortamdayken beyaz background (arkaplan) gözünüzü alması ve bir süre sonra gözünüzün yorulmasına önlem olması için önüne geçen gece modu özelliğini aktif ettiğinizde Twitter uygulamasının background (arkaplan) koyu renk, yazılar ise açık renk alıyor.
Twitter gece modu özelliği nasıl kullanılır?
Gece modu özelliğini aktif etmek için ekranınızı sağa kaydırarak sağ menüde "Gece modu" butonuna dokunarak kolay bir şekilde aktif edebilir ve devre dışı brakabiliyorsunuz. Ayrıca bu moda yakında zamanlayıcı desteğinin de ekleneceği Twitter'ın kendi içinde beta sürümü testlerinden yola çıkarak söyleniyor. Eğer zamanlayıcı özelliği yayımlanırsa kullanıcılar gece modu özelliğin aktif hale gelmesi için bellirli bir saat seçerek aktif edecek, o saat geldiğinde Twitter otomatik olarak gece moduna geçecek.
