Terminal simulator to improve interprofessional competencies: A mixed strategies research.
The patient's catheter was normal after adhesiolysis. He underwent hemodialysis, nutritional supporting as well as peritoneal dialysis transition, etc. INF195 mw The peritonitis was controlled after 10 days and the peritoneal dialysis was resumed. After discharge from hospital, the patient took moxifloxacin for 2 more weeks. We followed up the patient for 6 months. The automated peritoneal dialysis is maintained, and everything remains normal. Clinicians need to improve understanding of EPS. Early diagnosis and laparoscopic adhesiolysis is helpful to continue peritoneal dialysis treatment.Changes in nuclear morphology are common in malignant tumors, but the underlying molecular mechanisms remain poorly understood. Lamins is involved in supporting nuclear structure, and the expression of Lamins is the molecular basis for nuclear morphological changes during tumor progression. In recent years, the research on the relationship between Lamins and malignant tumors has made great progress. Lamins is of great value in the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of various malignant tumors.Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a rare neurodegenerative disease affecting the upper and lower motor neurons. It is characterized by progressive muscle weakness, atrophy and ultimate death due to dysphagia and dyspnea. There are many causes of ALS, among which the genetic factors show great relevance. Imbalance of protein homeostasis in neurons, prion-like proliferation and propagation of abnormal proteins, mitochondrial dysfunction, glutamate mediated excitotoxicity, and intraneuronal substance transport disorders are recognized as the pathogenesis. The study on gene mutation related to pathogenesis will bridge the molecular and cellular research of ALS, which can deepen the understanding of the occurrence and development of ALS and the role of gene mutation in ALS, and provide new ideas and enlightenment for the treatment of ALS.The traditional classification, diagnosis, and treatment of intracranial aneurysms are based on the characteristics of their vascular lumen. However, in the past few years, some advances in MRI technology with high-resolution imaging can assess the pathology of intracranial vascular walls. Compared with traditional methods of computed tomography angiography, magnetic resonance angiograhpy, and digital subtraction angiography, high resolution magnetic resonance imaging technology can help us to newly understand the disease by directly evaluating the characteristics of vascular wall, such as aneurysm wall thickness, inflammation, enhancement, permeability and hemodynamics. At present, high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging is increasingly used in clinic to assess the rupture risk of intracranial aneurysms, which is of great significance for guiding the diagnosis and treatment of intracranial aneurysms.Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is an autoimmune disease characterized by T-cell mediated destruction of pancreatic B cells, absolute deficiency in insulin, and hyperglycemia. The incidence of T1D is increased sharply after the middle of the 20th century, suggesting that the environmental factors affect the occurrence and development of T1D. The diversity of human intestinal flora forms early in life and tends to stabilize around age 3. Early intestinal flora is in a dynamic process of change and is closely related to the maturation of the immune system, suggesting that early environmental exposure may be involved in the development of T1D. A variety of factors such as antibiotics and cesarean section can affect the colonization of early intestinal flora. To clarify the influence of these factors on early intestinal flora and its association with T1D, it is necessary to understand the pathogenesis of T1D and to provide an effective means for the primary prevention of T1D.The incidence of non-alcohol fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is increasing year by year, and the relevant cardiovascular events have become a major problem in chronic diseases management. The activation of innate immunity is closely related to the development of NAFLD. The immune cells include Kupffer cells, neutrophils, dendritic cells, and natural killer T cells, which acts through the activation of innate immunity-related signals mediated by pattern recognition receptors.Antipsychotic medication is the primary treatment for schizophrenia, which is effective on ameliorating positive symptoms and can reduce the risk of recurrence, but it has limited efficacy for negative symptoms and cognitive dysfunction. The negative symptoms and cognitive dysfunction seriously affects the life quality and social function for the patients with schizophrenia. Currently, there is plenty evidence that antipsychotic drugs combined with adjuvant therapy drugs can effectively improve the negative symptoms and cognitive dysfunction. These drugs include anti-oxidants, nicotinic acetylcholine receptors and neuro-inflammatory drugs (anti-inflammatory drugs, minocycline), which show potential clinical effects.
It is an important reform for medical education in China to combine professional postgraduate training with standardized resident training. This study aims to evaluate the depression and perceived stress in postgraduate students of clinical medicine and residents from society and to determine the relation between depression and perceived stress in medical residents.

Chinese Perceived Stress Scale (CPSS) and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) were applied to 330 residents (including 235 postgraduate students of clinical medicine and 95 residents from society) from a Class-A Grade-3 genernal hospital in Hunan Province to evaluate and compare the depression and perceived stress in postgraduate students of clinical medicine and residents from society. Pearson correlation analysis was performed to assess the association between depression and perceived stress. Stress resources between 2 groups of residents were observed and compared.

Of the 235 postgraduate students of clinical medicine, 148 (63.0%) showed dpression and perceived stress than the residents from society under the "unified double-track" training system.
Residents (including postgraduate students of clinical medicine and residents from society) possess depression and elevated perceived stress with positive correlation. The postgraduate students of clinical medicine show higher level of depression and perceived stress than the residents from society under the "unified double-track" training system.
