Being overweight and also Heart disease: The actual Appearing Function regarding Irritation.
Furthermore, a Python code for generating textile-like ECG signals with variable SNR was also made available online. Finally, to provide a benchmark for the performance of R-peak detection algorithms on textile ECG, the five common R-peak detection algorithms Pan & Tompkins, improved Pan & Tompkins (in Biosppy), Hamilton, Engelse, and Khamis, were tested on textile-like MITDB. This work provides an approach to generating noisy textile ECG signals, and facilitating the development, testing, and evaluation of signal processing algorithms for textile ECGs.With the fourth revolution of healthcare, i.e., Healthcare 4.0, collaborative robotics is spilling out from traditional manufacturing and will blend into human living or working environments to deliver care services, especially telehealthcare. Because of the frequent and seamless interaction between robots and care recipients, it poses several challenges that require careful consideration 1) the ability of the human to collaborate with the robots in a natural manner; and 2) the safety of the human collaborating with the robot. CremophorEL In this regard, we have proposed a proximity sensing solution based on the self-capacitive technology to provide an extended sense of touch for collaborative robots, allowing approach and contact measurement to enhance safe and natural human-robot collaboration. The modular design of our solution enables it to scale up to form a large-area sensing system. The sensing solution is proposed to work in two operation modes the interaction mode and the safety mode. In the interaction mode, utilizing the ability of the sensor to localize the point of action, gesture command is used for robot manipulation. In the safety mode, the sensor enables the robot to actively avoid obstacles.Medication combination prediction can be applied to the clinical treatment for critical patients with multi-morbidity. The suitable medication combination can help cure patients and keep the treatment medication safe. However, the complexity and uncertainty of clinical circumstances limit the predictive accuracy of medication combination. Thus, this paper proposes a new medication combination prediction model based on the temporal attention mechanism (TAM) and the simple graph convolution (SGC), named as TAMSGC. More specifically, the TAM can capture the temporal sequence information in the medical records, and the SGC is implemented to acquire the medication knowledge from the complicated medication combination. Experiments in a real dataset show that TAMSGC surpasses the baseline models on the predictive accuracy of medication combination.Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can provide multi-modality MR images by setting task-specific scan parameters, and has been widely used in various disease diagnosis and planned treatments. However, in practical clinical applications, it is often difficult to obtain multi-modality MR images simultaneously due to patient discomfort, and scanning costs, etc. Therefore, how to effectively utilize the existing modality images to synthesize missing modality image has become a hot research topic. In this paper, we propose a novel confidence-guided aggregation and cross-modality refinement network (CACR-Net) for multi-modality MR image synthesis, which effectively utilizes complementary and correlative information of multiple modalities to synthesize high-quality target-modality images. Specifically, to effectively utilize the complementary modality-specific characteristics, a confidence-guided aggregation module is proposed to adaptively aggregate the multiple target-modality images generated from multiple source-modality images by using the corresponding confidence maps. Based on the aggregated target-modality image, a cross-modality refinement module is presented to further refine the target-modality image by mining correlative information among the multiple source-modality images and aggregated target-modality image. By training the proposed CACR-Net in an end-to-end manner, high-quality and sharp target-modality MR images are effectively synthesized. Experimental results on the widely used benchmark demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms state-of-the-art methods. When encountering a dubious diagnostic case, medical instance retrieval can help radiologists make evidence-based diagnoses by finding images containing instances similar to a query case from a large image database. The similarity between the query case and retrieved similar cases is determined by visual features extracted from pathologically abnormal regions. However, the manifestation of these regions often lacks specificity, i.e., different diseases can have the same manifestation, and different manifestations may occur at different stages of the same disease. To combat the manifestation ambiguity in medical instance retrieval, we propose a novel deep framework called Y-Net, encoding images into compact hash-codes generated from convolutional features by feature aggregation. Y-Net can learn highly discriminative convolutional features by unifying the pixel-wise segmentation loss and classification loss. The segmentation loss allows exploring subtle spatial differences for good spatial-discriminability while the classification loss utilizes class-aware semantic information for good semantic-separability. As a result, Y-Net can enhance the visual features in pathologically abnormal regions and suppress the disturbing of the background during model training, which could effectively embed discriminative features into the hash-codes in the retrieval stage. Extensive experiments on two medical image datasets demonstrate that Y-Net can alleviate the ambiguity of pathologically abnormal regions and its retrieval performance outperforms the state-of-the-art method by an average of 9.27% on the returned list of 10.A high-pass sigmadelta modulator (HPSDM) is proposed for electrocardiography (ECG) signal acquisition system. The HPSDM is implemented using operational amplifier (op-amp) sharing and programmable feedforward coefficients. The op-amp sharing is adopted to reduce the quantity of amplifiers because they dominate the power consumption of the HPSDM. In addition, given that the magnitude of the ECG is dependent on different persons, programmable feedforward coefficients are utilized to extend the dynamic range of the HPSDM to fit the actual application. The proposed HPSDM is fabricated in a 0.18-m standard CMOS process. Measurement results reveal that the proposed HPSDM has a signal-to-noise and distortion ratio (SNDR) of 54.5 dB and a power consumption of 2.25 W under a 1.2 V supply voltage and achieves a figure of merit (FoM) of 12.96 pJ/conv. Moreover, the proposed HPSDM has an SNDR of 64.8 dB and a power consumption of 5.2 W under a 1.8 V supply voltage and achieves a FoM of 9.15 pJ/conv due to the op-amp sharing technique.
