001). Mean number of days off work was 2.7 days, significantly increasing to 6.56 days when sustaining a fracture or dislocation (
= 0.02).
Tram tracks are potentially dangerous and may lead to clinically important injuries and significant number of days off work.

They performed two speech motor assessments, DYMTA-A and DYMTA-B using dynamic assessment.Result Typically developing children show good motor speech performance on targeted speech characteristics already at the age of three. DYMTA median total score was high for all ages; 90% of maximum or above. A significant correlation with age was found for DYMTA-A (p = 0.000, r = 0.49) and DYMTA-B (p = 0.000, r = 0.77). No significant differences were found across gender or concerning being mono- or multilingual. Conclusion DYMTA is the first Swedish assessment tool designed to identify children with CAS. The results of this study demonstrate that typically developing Swedish children perform well on DYMTA and that the test has possible utility for both mono- and multilingual children.
To investigate the effect of the presence of severe hydronephrosis on percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PNL) outcome in patients who underwent PNL operation with one-shot dilatation technique.
Medical data of 989 patients underwent PNL operation in our clinic between 2012 and 2018 were retrospectively reviewed. We included 373 of the patients underwent PNL operation due to renal pelvic stone, who were older than 18 years of age, who did not have any urinary tract abnormality, and had no previous history of open renal stone operation. Patients were divided into two groups according to the presence of severe hydronephrosis and absence of hydronephrosis. These two groups were compared in terms of age, gender, body mass index (BMI), number of stones, stone burden, operation duration, fluoroscopy time, hospitalization time, hemoglobin and creatinine change, complications, and stone free rate.
There was no statistically significant difference between the groups in terms of age, gender, BMI, stone number, stone size, stone density, operation duration, fluoroscopy time, and hospitalization duration. The mean change in hemoglobin was 1.5 g/dL in group 1 and 1.1 g/dL in group 2. This difference was statistically significant (
= 0.006). Postoperative blood transfusion was required for 3 patients (2.1%) in group 1 and 12 patients (5.1%) in group 2. This difference was statistically significant (
< 0.001).
Only the presence of severe hydronephrosis was found to be associated with the change in hemoglobin and postoperative blood transfusion.

Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) is a promising technology for crash avoidance or pre-crash impact speed reduction through the automatic application of braking force. Implementation of AEB technology on motorcycles (MAEB) is still problematic as its interaction with the rider may compromise the safety. In previous studies, MAEB interventions at low decelerations were shown to be easily manageable by common riders in straight line condition, but they were not previously tested in lateral maneuvers such as lane change and swerving, which are common in pre-crash situations. The objective of this paper is to assess the applicability of MAEB activation during lateral avoidance maneuver and to estimate its benefits in this scenario.
Field tests were carried out involving common riders as participants, using a test protocol developed on the experience of previous studies. The test vehicle was a sport-touring motorcycle equipped with an automatic braking system that could be activated remotely by researchers tos with decelerations up to 0.3 g can be easily managed by motorcycle riders not only in straight-line conditions but also during an avoidance maneuver. Further investigations using higher deceleration values are now possible.

PHA665752 C-Gd-PFH-NAs showed excellent stability in water, phosphate-buffered saline (PBS), and 20% rat serum. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images also revealed the effective construction of C-Gd-PFH-NAs as common spherical assemblies. The incubation of C625 thyroid carcinoma with C-Gd-PFH-NAs triggers apoptosis, as confirmed by flow cytometry analysis. The C-Gd-PFH-NAs exhibited antitumor efficacy in human thyroid carcinoma xenografts, where histopathological results further confirmed these outcomes. Furthermore, we were able to use low-intensity focused ultrasound diagnosis imaging (LIFUS) to examine the efficiency of C-Gd-PFH-NAs in thyroid carcinoma in vivo. These findings clearly show that the use of LIFUS agents with high performance imaging in different therapeutic settings will have extensive potential for future biomedical applications.
The objective of this study was to develop injury risk curves as a function of change in vehicle velocity for occupants in far-side lateral motor vehicle crashes (MVCs) by AIS level, body region, and specific AIS codes that commonly occur in this crash mode.
The National Automotive Sampling System-Crashworthiness Data System (NASS-CDS) years 2000-2015 database was queried, resulting in 4,495 non-weighted far-side crashes. For each case, occupant age, sex, and the following metadata were collected vehicle model year, vehicle body type, lateral delta-v, normalized PDOF, multiple impacts, belt use, seat position, object contacted, striking vehicle body type, maximum crush extent and side airbag deployment. Multivariable logistic regression was used to develop risk curves for AIS 2+ through 5+ injuries, AIS 2+ injuries by body region (head, thorax, lower extremity), and for each of the 10 most frequent far-side AIS 2+ injuries. Significant covariates were determined by backwards elimination (p < 0.05). The full dataset and a subsampled dataset of only cases with side airbag deployment were used to develop risk curves.
