Gastric cancer is the fifth most common cancer and the third most common cause of cancer-related deaths in the world. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the impact of clinicopathological factors on overall survival in the patients who underwent curative-intent gastrectomy due to gastric adenocarcinoma.

Between January 2016 and April 2019, 76 patients who were diagnosed with acute appendicitis by contrast-enhanced abdominal multislice computerized tomography (MSCT) and had histopathologically confirmed appendicitis after an appendectomy were included in this study. To compare the efficacy of 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography (18F-FDG PET/CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in the detection of liver metastases originating from the gastrointestinal system (GIS) and the pancreaticobiliary (PB) system.

This retrospective study included 42 patients with primary GIS (stomach or colorectal) or PB system malignancies that metastasized to the liver, histopathologically confirmed diagnoses, and MRI and 18F-FDG PET/CT images. The present study aims to evaluate the relationship between anxiety and depression levels with perceived stress and coping strategies in health care workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this study, 200 participants were included. Beck Anxiety Inventory (BDI), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Perceived Stress Scale-10 (PSS-10) and COPE (Coping Orientation to Problems Experienced) were applied.

Mean scores for BDI and BAI were 9.2±8.9 and 8.2±9.2, respectively.
