We employ three linear modeling techniques to assess model performance in explaining the variability of OTCP using OSV as dependent variable. Results reveal that microclimatic parameters alone are unable to explain the variability of OTCP. Our results yield a neutral PET value (PETneutral) of 23.75 °C for Mumbai in the winter. PETneutral was higher for activities at the clothing market compared to other micro entrepreneurial activities. Acclimatization significantly improved comfort in the summer, while evaporative cooling was beneficial in the winter. Further, an ANCOVA and ordinal logistic regressions demonstrate the importance of behavioral attributes (presence in the location, expectation, beverage intake) in explaining the variance in OTCP. Our study also reveals that wind speed and humidity play an important role in shaping overall comfort in the Mumbai neighborhoods.This study evaluated preliminary reliability and validity evidence for novel scores that extend the motivational interviewing treatment integrity (MITI) coding system to assess elements unique to motivational interviewing (MI) with couples. We recruited 20 cismale couples where at least one partner was aged 18-29; reported substance use; and was HIV-negative. Couples were randomized to a three-session MI or attention-matched education control. Four coders rated audio-recordings of initial sessions in both conditions. Novel global scores had high nearly-exact percent agreement (Decreasing Dyadic Ambivalence = 100%; Facilitating Dyadic Functioning = 94%). Consistency for novel behavior counts was good (ICCdyadic reflections = .72) and above minimum thresholds (nearly-exact agreement for Relationship Affirmations = 78%). MI sessions generated novel and established MITI codes that were significantly better than education sessions, providing preliminary evidence of validity. Findings provided initial support for the use of these novel scores in future research evaluating MI-based substance use and HIV risk reduction studies with couples.

To classify adult intestinal malrotation by CT.
This retrospective study enrolled adults diagnosed with intestinal malrotation who underwent abdominal CT at our institution between June 1, 2013, and August 30, 2020. All patients' clinical information was recorded. Patients were divided into groups undergoing surgical and conservative management. The duodenum (nonrotation, partial rotation, and malrotation), jejunum, cecum, and the superior mesenteric artery/superior mesenteric vein relationship were reviewed on the CT images of each patient, and classification criteria developed based on the first three items. For each patient, each item was assessed separately by three radiologists. Consensus was required from at least two of them.
A total of 332 eligible patients (218 men and 114 women; mean age 51.0 ± 15.3years) were ultimately included and classified into ten types of malrotation. Duodenal partial rotation was present in most (73.2%, 243/332) with only 25% (83/332) demonstrating nonrotation. The jejunum was located in the right abdomen in 98.2% (326/332) of cases, and an ectopic cecum was found in only 12% (40/332, 29 cases with a left cecum, 7 pelvic, and 4 at midline). Asymptomatic patients comprised 56.6% (188/332) of cases, much higher than that in previous studies (17%, n = 82, p < .001), comprised mainly of patients with duodenal partial rotation (80.3%, 151/188). In 91 patients with detailed clinical data available (12 managed surgically and 79 conservatively), a significant difference in malrotation CT categorization was identified (p = .016).

Hence, we aimed to evaluate the dental implant status in elderly patients requiring nursing and domiciliary dental care and to determine the suitable measures for overcoming the associated limitations. see more A questionnaire was mailed to 1000 dentists who provided domiciliary dental care in the Tokyo metropolitan area of Japan. The questions were classified into three categories basic information of the dentists, actual implant status of patients requiring domiciliary dental care, and implants in an aging society.
The response rate was 36.5%. Approximately 2% of patients requiring domiciliary dental care were implant patients. Many implant-related problems were associated with insufficiency or difficulty in cleaning around the implant, resulting in peri-implantitis.
