Originario de Matamoros, Tamaulipas. Nació en septiembre de 1963. Licenciado en Economía egresado de la Universidad de Monterrey. Actualmente es candidato del Partido Revolucionario Institucional en coalición con el Partido Verde y Nueva Alianza. Diputado Federal con Licencia a la LXIII Legislatura del H. Congreso de la Unión (ósea que si no gana seguirá siendo diputado)
El día 13 de mayo del 2016 en el portal "Causa Probable" se podía leer lo siguiente:

-Seguridad y justicia (rescates heroicos como el de Alan Pulido)

-Educación de calidad para todos (esta vez no desfalcará a las instituciones robándose el dinero de los pensionados)
-Además de cultura, empleo, cobertura universal de salud, gobierno honesto y trasparente, entre otras (3 más)
