Therefore, understanding of mechanisms regulating the modulation of lncRNAs will be a substantial breakthrough in effective treatment therapies for TNBC. This review highlights the association of several lncRNAs in TNBC progression and treatment, along with their possible functions and mechanisms.
To analyse the efficacy of Nintendo Wii therapy (NWT) on functional balance in children with cerebral palsy (CP).

A systematic review with meta-analysis (PROSPERO identification number CRD42020169510) was performed using randomized controlled trials (RCTs) that examined the effect of NWT on functional, dynamic, and static balance in children with CP, assessed with the Pediatric Balance Scale, the Timed Get Up and Go Test, and the One Leg Stance Test respectively. The pooled effect was calculated using the Cohen's standardized mean difference (SMD).

Eleven RCTs with 270 children (when sex was reported 43% females, 57% males) with CP (mean age [SD] 10y 1mo [1y 1mo], range 5-16y) were included. On functional balance, we found very low-quality evidence with a large effect of NWT compared with no intervention (SMD 0.95, 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.02-1.89) and moderate-quality evidence for using NWT plus conventional physical therapy (CPT) versus CPT (SMD 0.78, 95% CI 0.20-1.35) in sessions of approximately 30 minutes (SMD 0.86, 95% CI 0.20-1.52) and interventions lasting longer than 3 weeks (SMD 1.03, 95% CI 0.58-1.47). For dynamic balance, very low-quality evidence for a medium effect for using NWT plus CPT versus CPT (SMD 0.70, 95% CI 0.12-1.29) was found.

NWT can be considered an effective treatment for improving functional and dynamic balance in children with CP, especially when combined with CPT in 30-minute sessions with interventions lasting longer than 3 weeks.

Several flaws and inconsistencies between results presented and experimental methods described were found, the editors consider the conclusions of this article to be invalid. The authors collaborated in the investigation initially, but were not available for a final confirmation of the retraction.
Speciation not associated with morphological shifts is challenging to detect unless molecular data are employed. Using Sanger-sequencing approaches, the Lomatium packardiae/L. anomalum subcomplex within the larger Lomatium triternatum complex could not be resolved. Therefore, we attempt to resolve these boundaries here.

The Angiosperms353 probe set was employed to resolve the ambiguity within Lomatium triternatum species complex using 48 accessions assigned to L. packardiae, L. anomalum, or L. triternatum. In addition to exon data, 54 nuclear introns were extracted and were complete for all samples. Three approaches were used to estimate evolutionary relationships and define species boundaries STACEY, a Bayesian coalescent-based species tree analysis that takes incomplete lineage sorting into account; ASTRAL-III, another coalescent-based species tree analysis; and a concatenated approach using MrBayes. Climatic factors, morphological characters, and soil variables were measured and analyzed to provide additional support for recovered groups.

The STACEY analysis recovered three major clades and seven subclades, all of which are geographically structured, and some correspond to previously named taxa. No other analysis had full agreement between recovered clades and other parameters. Climatic niche and leaflet width and length provide some predictive ability for the major clades.

The results suggest that these groups are in the process of incipient speciation and incomplete lineage sorting has been a major barrier to resolving boundaries within this lineage previously. These results are hypothesized through sequencing of multiple loci and analyzing data using coalescent-based processes.

Women with GT have recurrent episodes on subsequent pregnancies suggesting that GT is related to a maternal factor rather than a factor unique to the individual pregnancy. We performed a case-control study of over 3 500 pregnancies at a single hospital during 2017. We defined GT as any pregnancy with a platelet count less then 150 000/µl during the 100 days prior to delivery. We excluded women with platelet counts less then 50 000/µl or with conditions known to cause thrombocytopenia. GT was present in 12% of pregnancies. The median platelet count at delivery was 134 500/µl in cases versus 208 000/µl in controls, P less then 0·0001. During the pregnancy, the platelet count declined 31·8% in cases compared with 18·3% in controls (P less then 0·0001) in association with a significant increase in mean platelet volume during each trimester. Among women with GT, platelet counts rapidly increased during the first week postpartum, consistent with a mechanism directly related to high blood flow rates in the gravid uterus. GT, a recurrent condition of at-risk women, is a common haematological disorder of pregnancy. Future research may focus on genetic gain-of-function polymorphisms resulting in increased turnover of platelets uncovered only during periods of high-shear blood flow.
