- I'll give you a clue, because it seems you aren't pretending to be obtuse and this is just genuine stupidity: the reason why describing other media woorks and it doesn't with movies is the format itself. When you are describing a series, it is going to be at the very least 3 episodes (most likely 10 or more) doing something specific and thematic. When you write a book or book series, it's something specific and thematic. When you list movies, by genre, you are not going to describe them one by one, because each of them tells a wildly different story that has a significantly shorter run time than any other media. Hence lack of description. A fucking child can grasp that. Yet all of you somehow struggle with this notion. In fact, you struggle so hard, your grand solution is to slash the list, or really, just gut it, because you are incapable of grasping such basic fucking shit. And yet you are mods. And flaut that like a badge of merit. Ever occurred to any of you you are terrible at this job?
- But fine. Let's do the descriptions, your idea. Except none of you actually contribute to it. You just don't. You simply came up with it, fiddled with this concept for two weeks, then abandoned it. You did fuck all about it, yet enforced it as a rule. Then, after few months, you came up with another brilliant idea of yours: to just gut the list (even if you do fuck-all with or for it) and make a new one, with descriptions. While locking the original list. End result: no actual fucking work done, zero progress, zero action, list locked, new one barely even touched.
