How does it work?
Death Note records the events preceding a death and presents them to you in a comprehensible manner. Basically it records all death/kill made by Players / GMs / NPCs.
How To Install It
Step 1: Download the Addon.
Step 2: Open the .zip file you just downloaded. Save it into folder,
For a PC users, by default, in C:Program FilesWorld of WarcraftInterfaceAddons.
For a Mac users, the default is ~/Applications/World of Warcraft/Interface/Addons.
You must keep the folders intact in order for WoW to be able to properly use these addons. You will see a list of folders like below:
Step 3: Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Step 4: Start World of Warcraft and log into your Account.
Step 5: Make sure your AddOn is installed
Log in.
At the Character Select screen, look in lower left corner for the "addons" button.
If button is there: make sure that addon you installed is listed and "load out of date addons" is checked.
If the button is NOT there: means you did not install the addon properly.
How to set your Deathnote
Open your In-Game menu (by default ESC) > Click on Interface > AddOns > Death Note
Check the data capture options in the interface panel and make sure that you are comfortable with the default settings.
To view the recorded deaths, use the option in the right-click menu of a unit frame or write a command /deathnote.
Please note that you're not the only one who uses it, So I ask you to set it up properly, that it will not disturb the community and unnecessarily spamming the chat.
