We also will discuss findings indicating that, in mice surviving an initial encounter with venom, acquired type 2 immune responses, IgE antibodies, the high affinity IgE receptor (FcεRI), and mast cells can contribute to acquired resistance to the lethal effects of both honeybee venom and Russell's viper venom. These findings support the hypothesis that mast cells and IgE can help protect the host against venoms and perhaps other noxious substances.
Studies have shown that a child's learning in school is affected by several factors, some related to the school environment, others to the home and community while others are as a result of the individual characteristics of the child. This study sought to explore parents' and teachers' perceptions of factors that affect learning of children in primary schools in a rural County in Kenya.
This was a qualitative study that adopted the phenomenological approach. It was conducted with parents and teachers of 7 primary schools in rural and semi-rural areas of Kiambu County in Kenya. Using a researcher developed guide, data was collected using focus group discussion with parents and teachers. The discussions were conducted as follows-four were conducted in English language, two in Kiswahili language, and three were conducted in the local language and all were audio taped. Research assistants also took notes during the discussions. Results were transcribed verbatim and those that needed to be translated into English were translated. In analysis, MA, MM and MT read the transcripts and coded the major themes.
Four themes perceived by both parents and teachers to affect a child's learning emerged. These were; school environment, home, community and factors within the child.
There is need for both teachers and parents to come together and discuss perceived factors that interfere with learning of the children. Those that form a consensus for both groups, means to address them be found for better academic success of the child.

This virus can be transmitted through contact with different atomic matrix between humans. So, this atomic is essential in medical cases. In this work, we describe the atomic manner of this virus in contact with various metallic matrix such as Fe, Al, and steel with equilibrium molecular dynamic method. For this purpose, we reported physical properties such as temperature, total energy, distance and angle of structures, mutual energy, and volume variation of coronavirus. In this approach, coronavirus is precisely simulated by O, C, S, and N atoms and they are implemented dreiding force field. Our simulation shows that virus interaction with steel matrix causes the maximum removing of the virus from the surfaces. After 1 ns, the atomic distance between these two structures increases from 45 to 75 Å. Furthermore, the volume of coronavirus 14.62% increases after interaction with steel matrix. This atomic manner shows that coronavirus removes and destroyed with steel surface, and this metallic structure can be a promising material for use in medical applications.Investigating the joint exposure to several risk factors is becoming a key component of epidemiologic studies. Individuals are exposed to multiple factors, often simultaneously, and evaluating patterns of exposures and high-dimension interactions may allow for a better understanding of health risks at the individual level. When jointly evaluating high-dimensional exposures, common statistical methods should be integrated with machine learning techniques that may better account for complex settings. Among these, Logic regression was developed to investigate a large number of binary exposures as they relate to a given outcome. This method may be of interest in several public health settings, yet has never been presented to an epidemiologic audience. In this paper, we review and discuss Logic regression as a potential tool for epidemiological studies, using an example of occupation history (68 binary exposures of primary occupations) and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis in a population-based Danish cohort. Logic regression identifies predictors that are Boolean combinations of the original (binary) exposures, fully operating within the regression framework of interest (e.g. click here linear, logistic). Combinations of exposures are graphically presented as Logic trees, and techniques for selecting the best Logic model are available and of high importance. While highlighting several advantages of the method, we also discuss specific drawbacks and practical issues that should be considered when using Logic regression in population-based studies. With this paper, we encourage researchers to explore the use of machine learning techniques when evaluating large-dimensional epidemiologic data, as well as advocate the need of further methodological work in the area.To reduce cadmium (Cd) accumulation in the grains of rice Chuang-5S (C5S), a gene OsHMA3 and a QTL qlGCd3 related to low-Cd accumulation were separately introgressed into the recipient parent C5S (male sterile line) by molecular marker-assisted breeding. The recurrent parent C5S was then replaced by NIL (near-isogenic line)-C5S with the blast resistance gene Pi48 or Pi49 to construct the BC2F1 generation. Finally, two groups of improved materials of C5S, which pyramided the gene/QTL associated with low-Cd accumulation and blast resistance gene, were developed. The Cd accumulation, agronomic traits, genetic background and blast resistance of these improved C5S materials were evaluated. The results showed that the average Cd content of improved C5S material carrying OsHMA3 and qlGCd3 was, respectively, reduced by 52.8% and 50.8% compared with that of C5S, indicating that the gene related to low-Cd accumulation was, successfully, transferred to C5S with stable expression. The main agronomic traits of the improved materials were consistent with those of C5S.
