The results suggest that adolescents place greater attention and emotional intensity on the nude body appeal of influencers compared to young adults, and show only scarce interest in brands. © 2020 The Author(s).Objective The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) on the rate of implantation and pregnancy in women with repeated failed implantation during frozen embryo transfer. Methods This study was conducted on 50 infertile women candidates (who were referred to the Infertility Treatment Center of Besat Hospital in Sanandaj) with a history of failed implantation for the purpose of frozen embryo transfer. The participants were randomly divided into two groups (n = 25). In the first group (control), the intrauterine infusion of 0.5 ml of Ringer serum was done 48 h before embryo transfer. In the second group (treatment), the intrauterine infusion of 0.5 ml of PRP was performed 48 h before embryo transfer. Results In this study, there was no significant difference between the two groups in the rate of chemical and clinical pregnancy. The rate of chemical pregnancy was 28% in the treatment group and 36% in the control group, while the rate of clinical pregnancy was 28% in the treatment group and 24% in the control group. Conclusion The intrauterine infusion of PRP before frozen embryo transfer in infertile women with a history of failed implantation will not make any significant effect on the result of pregnancy. © 2020 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.This study evaluates the vapor transportation by transmission pipelines during seawater desalination. This study seeks to reach a high rate of water transportation during desalination. Hence, the results obtained from this research are closer to reality than other analyses. Other benefits of this research include increasing efficiency, studying the element-to-element transmission, and considering flow as a compression case. The water desalination system comprises three parts of evaporation, transportation, and condensation. In the transportation part, equations of continuity, momentum, and energy are implemented, and the temperature of the vapor is calculated at the beginning of the condensation pipe. Other achievements of this study include the division of transportation lines to small elements and the implementation of vapor condensation in transportation lines. This study used pipelines with diameters of 1, 2, and 4 m to transmit vapor to Ramsar city and the heights of Takhte Soleiman, 16 km away from the city with the elevation of 2000 m. The results show that diameter, transportation length, and temperature differences are, respectively, the most influential factors on the efficiency of sub-atmospheric vapor transportation. The outcomes of this study were presented as the outflow of condensed water at the destination. Considering the margin of safety in calculations, it was scientifically proved that the results obtained in this study were approximately 10% more than results derived from other studies in the literature that are based on the incompressibility of fluids. © 2020 Published by Elsevier Ltd.Many people with developmental disabilities, such as autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability have emotion recognition (ER) difficulties compared with typically developing (TD) peers. Accurate assessment of the extent and nature of differences in ER requires an understanding of the response profiles to ER assessment stimuli. We analysed data from 504 TD individuals in response to an ER assessment in respect of distribution properties, factor structure, and item response profile. Eighteen emotion items discriminated better at lower levels of ER ability in TD participants. Neutral expressions were the hardest to interpret; surprise, anger, happy, and bored were easiest. The amount of contextual information in combination with the emotion being depicted also appeared to influence level of difficulty. Researchers have proposed various solutions over the years making use of convolutional neural networks (CNN), however, we introduce DSC layers to the CNN for the problem of pedestrian attribute recognition. In addition, we make a novel use of the different color spaces and create a 3-branch CNN, denoted as 3bCNN, that is efficient, especially with smaller datasets. We experiment on two benchmark datasets and show results with improvement over the state of the art. © 2020 The Authors.
