To determine the reasons for the lack of priority given to addressing violence against children, and to identify the challenges that proponents must address to improve prioritization of this issue.

We reviewed relevant literature to identify experts to interview. We carried out a thematic analysis of the literature and interview transcripts. We iteratively developed data coding on the many characteristics of violence against children, on the framing of the issue by proponents, and on the problem of governance - that is, how proponents organize themselves for collective action.

The analysis of our data sources reveals many obstacles for global prioritization of addressing violence against children, including the forms of violence considered, inadequate data to describe prevalence and a lack of evidence of the effectiveness of proposed solutions. Dry mouth, also commonly known as "xerostomia", is a prominent symptom that is often overlooked by dental practitioners and patients. The purpose of this study was to pilot the development of a mobile application for assessing dry mouth symptoms. The application will allow patients to self-assess and enhance knowledge, awareness and communication with dental practitioners in their management of dry mouth.

The first phase of the study was to draw on common knowledge and awareness by conducting two focus groups of dental professionals and community members on content, practicality, functionality, design, and effectiveness. The second phase of the study was the development of the dry mouth mobile application followed by the third phase of the study that consisted of face-validity interviews to obtain feedback on the application.

Fifty two percent (n=15) of the dental professionals estimated being aware of the prevalence of dry mouth in 40% or more of their patients. Thirty Nine percent of (n=9) community etion. The application was made available to download from the iTunes Appstore (2019-2020).

The aim of the study is to compare the emotional effects of COVID-19 among three different groups, namely health personnel, medical students, and a sample of the general population.

375 participants were recruited for this study, of which 125 were medical students (preclinical studies, 59; clinical studies, 66), 125 were health personnel (COVID-19 frontline personnel, 59; personnel not related with COVID-19, 66), and 125 belonged to the general population. The PHQ-9, GAD-7, and CPDI scales were used to assess the emotional impact. A multinomial logistic regression was performed to measure differences between groups, considering potential confounding factors.

Regarding CPDI values, all other groups showed reduced values compared to COVID-19 frontline personnel. However, the general population, preclinical and clinical medical students showed increased PHQ-9 values compared to COVID-19 frontline personnel. Finally, confounding factors, gender and age correlated negatively with higher CPDI and PHQ-9 scores.
